Juno review: You can always rely on Dungeon Meat to kick out the jams and that is the case here with Julian Anthony next up to make a solid house statement. 'Dale Ale' kicks things off with a tumbling hook that sounds like someone whacking a giant metal drum, while 'Phantom Strike' brings shuffling garage energy to the beats. 'Radikal Forze' is one of those late-night jams with some mysterious pads leading you to mischief and last of all 'Z-Town' rides on rubbery kick drum loops with tripped-out pads. Heady and physical at the same time, all four of these are superb.

Demi Riquisimo’s Semi Delicious celebrates its 20th release with a peak-time 4-track EP from Leeds-based production talent, Kepler— another stand out addition to the label’s impressive catalogue, dropping on 29th November.

Opening the Ep is ‘Step Up,’ a sub-bass-driven journey that layers relentless percussive grooves, squelchy acid lines, and proggy chord hooks, encapsulating the quintessential Semi Delicious vibe.

Next up, ‘Swoon’ glides in with a playful FM- bass lead, steering the track’s flow while staccato vocal stabs and soothing pads create a perfectly balanced, dancefloor-ready arrangement.

On the B- side, ‘Acid Flow’ delivers as promised, with classic 303 leads and smooth basstones, set against Kepler’s signature drum palette for a distinct yet timeless feel.

Landing December 13th on Locus, Luke Dean’s 'Ready Set Go' EP will bookend what has been a pivotal year for the young producer and lay the foundations for 2025 – a year that already promises to cultivate significant growth and support from the scene’s key players.

Infused with groove at every level, Luke’s inimitable production style is his calling card and it’s this original sound that has captured the attention of FUSE’s Enzo Siragusa in a way that will see Luke Dean become a firm fixture of London’s prestigious underground party moving into next year. 

From the bouncy, tongue-in-cheek vibes of 'Ready Set Go' to the garage-inspired 'Baby’s On The Decks,' the EP is an unfiltered expression of Luke’s broad taste in underground music.

Seth’s musical background is varied and accomplished.   Trained in piano from a young age, he is well-versed in Pop and Jazz. His housey productions are filled with rich musicianship and they possess a distinctive, groovy quality that has helped him to achieve radio success and build a fruitful DJ career.

In 2020, Seth released his debut EP “Try Me”. The project was well received, leading to a feature on Jaguar’s BBC Radio 1 Dance show, BBC Introducing’s ‘Hot-List’ and Leeds’ acclaimed Inner City Electronic Festival line up.

In recent years, he has become a common fixture in the Leeds DJ scene, supporting the likes of Chaos In The CBD, Jeremy Underground, LF System, Mall Grab, Dusky, Mandar, Sally C, DJ Deep, Inland Knights, PBR Streetgang, Adelphi Music Factory, Digby, Maurice Fulton and Spokenn.

Seth is spending 2024 finalising a number of different projects, each one unique in terms of genre, but all underpinned by his love for intertwining electronic music with a diverse musical skill set.
