I was inspired to record this cover of Silent Night largely by the lyric, "Dawn of redeeming grace." This idea that Jesus' birth on earth was the first light of a long anticipated coming of redemption.

New lyrics to a Christmas classic. I was seriously feeling the holiday blues approaching a Christmas with no extended family, no time off from work, and our closest friends out of town. I ended up dodging the melancholy Christmas, but it was definitely a close call.

This is a cover of the Christmas carol, "Angels We Have Heard On High." I switched up the traditional order of the verses to try to make more chronological sense. It always confused me why there was a verse asking the shepherds what's up RIGHT after a verse of the shepherds telling whats up.

A cover of the Christmas carol. Admittedly still a work in progress. This has always been one of my favorite Christmas songs. It does such a good job of depicting hope, and the joy and pain that comes with hoping.
