Hot on the heels of his recent "Planet D" EP, label stalwart Fabian Krooss returns to Stil vor Talent with his anticipated new release, "Higher State". Featuring all of that elementary Krooss-copyrighted sound palette, this new effort finds the Berlin producer exploring further ahead the concepts of minimal trompe-l'oeil and electro-acoustic roguishness that flowed across his previous iterations, resulting in an ever streamlined, pared-to-the-essential quartet of club-ready cuts. Surgically executed and bound to get all booties shaking in a two-mile radius.

Drenched in reverbs and machinic processes, "Unchained" draws first blood with its engineering of bubbling bass onslaughts and steel-clad percussions going hard against nostalgic swashes of brittle chimes and flat chords. One foot in a celestial paradise of sorts, the other wading in a sea of molten metal. A subdued dub affair laced with big-room focused electroid tendencies at first, "Higher State" progressively trades that chaotic opening for a steadier momentum, getting each bar tidy for the accordion-like home run to exhale its flavours with optimal results.

Hips wiggling and feet shuffling, the bouncy, tropical-hot "Frechdachs" is no straight walker but rather well a cheerful churner primed for metronome-busting action down the mosh pit. Sway, roll, shake off the dust from your shoes and repeat. Final number "In Between" caps it off in sheer mesmeric Andalusian-style. Serving up an oddball mix of FX-riddled, raucous electronics and refined Spanish guitar riffs, it's a feast for the senses that unfolds, deep and lush as it gets. A piece of Electronic Dance Music is usually described as a production. However, in the case of Seth Schwarz the word composition seems to be just much more appropriate. For many years the multi- instrumentalist dedicated his life to classical music – and that is very noticeable when listening to his highly melodic arrangements. Together with various talents from the 3000Grad environment he created an EP that draws its power from a unique feeling of multidimensional complexity. The interplay with Mollono.Bass is an ever-growing stream of escalating melodies and ecstatic filter sweeps that leaves the dance floor in blissful rapture and the DJ with the question how to keep up this extremely high level of energy. The epic soundscape of Dole & Kom provides the perfect setting for weightless violin entries, and the musical excursion with Bebetta leads through a glistening downpour of hi-hats to a mystic horizon.

Der Multi-Instrumentalist hat sich viele Jahre mit klassischer Musik beschäftigt, und das ist in seinem melodischen Sound nicht zu überhören. Zusammen mit verschiedenen Talenten aus dem 3000Grad Umfeld ist eine EP entstanden, die ihre Schubkraft und Eingängigkeit einer faszinierenden Vielschichtigkeit verdankt. Die ausufernden Melodien und ekstatischen Filtereskaparden, welche sich im Wechselspiel mit Mollono.Bass entwickeln, konfrontieren die Tanzfläche mit glückseeliger Selbstvergessenheit und den DJ mit der Frage, wie er da noch einen draufsetzen kann. 'When Suns Collide' is the final single taken from Christian Bachmann's well received second artist album 'Stardust'. Being one of the albums' stand out tracks it deserved an extra spotlight with this single release alongside a couple of fresh interpretations of various album tracks.

First up on remix duties it's fellow Berliner, Keller label boss Acud who makes his welcome return on Manual Music to rework 'Fog Machine'.

Stil Vor Talents' Jonas Gewald debuted on Manual's Manualism compilation last December and now delivers a stunning piece of work, remixing 'Skylab Sunday'.

And finally it's our exciting new artist from Russia, Zinovatny, who showcases his vast capabilities once again with his 'Grown' rework.

Seth Schwarz is one of them. His powerful productions meet the expectations of the dance floor, but at the same time they break the circle of imitation and repetition. Seth dedicated a great part of his youth to classical music. By merging the concepts of electronic music and classic composition he creates mighty bangers of truly symphonic dimensions.
