Playing at Mezcal Amores was an absolute dream come true. ✨
In Mitla, one hour from Oaxaca - mountains all around, an agave field straight out of a painting, with Olivia Steele’s glowing art installations and messages scattered across the landscape like guiding stars. A lineup full of artists I deeply admire. A production that left zero wishes unfulfilled. And a crowd that felt like home.
Honestly, it was a “pinch me” moment from start to finish. I’m endlessly grateful to have been part of this year’s Oaxaca Experience.
Deborah - the biggest thank you to you and your entire team of dv experiences for bringing us all together in such a magical way and making this weekend truly unforgettable.

I will remember this forever.

Welcome to this new RISE Breathwork session — a quick 4-minute reset designed to help you release anxiety, ease restlessness, and shift out of overthinking. In just one round of breathing, you’ll feel lighter, clearer, and more present. Perfect for any moment of the day when you need a fast reset.

Your guide: Joep Mencke — breathwork facilitator, DJ, and music producer — has led sessions across the globe for the past three years. His mission is to make transformation accessible and help you integrate breathwork into your daily life. Every soundscape and melody in this session is composed by Joep, blending soothing textures and gentle rhythms to carry you deeper into the shift. For the session today he is using his track: Trust The Wild.

What to expect in this session:
• 4-minute guided breathwork reset 🌬️
• One simple, accessible breathing round
• Release anxiety, restlessness, and mental tension
• Original music and soundscapes by Joep Mencke
• No experience needed — anyone can join

Best experienced with headphones

Can be done sitting or lying down in a comfortable, undisturbed space

Breathwork Instructions

This is a connected breath practice — no pause between inhale and exhale.
 • Inhale: Belly & chest expand
 • Exhale: Belly & chest fall
 • Breathing in: Mouth (more powerful) or nose (gentler)
 • Breathing out: Mouth
 • Each cycle includes dynamic breathing followed by two retentions (~45 sec after exhale, then ~45 sec after inhale).
 • You may feel tingling, changes in temperature, or mild muscle tension — these are normal effects of breathwork.
 • If overwhelmed, return to gentle breathing in and out through the nose.
 • Always listen to your body and never force anything.

⚠ Important Contraindications

If you have a history of psychosis or epileptic seizures, this practice is not for you.

If you are currently pregnant, please listen closely to your body. Only participate if it feels right for you — and do not perform or hold any of the breath retentions.

If in doubt, consult your physician.

Often it's those who enter the scene from a different background who take the evolution of music to the next level. Instead of suffering from tunnel vision they are full of open-minded curiosity. Seth Schwarz is one of them. His powerful productions meet the expectations of the dance floor, but at the same time they break the circle of imitation and repetition. Seth dedicated a great part of his youth to classical music. By merging the concepts of electronic music and classic composition he creates mighty bangers of truly symphonic dimensions. It's not unusual for him to record up to 70 instrumental tracks for a new production. The result is extremely catchy and has a unique feeling of flow elegance.
