Hello everyone, welcome along to Il Modo

This is our infamous weekly Progcast, and today we are celebrating the second year of our journeys around the world of global underground dance music, and what better way to celebrate this massive achievement? In the only way we know how..

Little did anyone think, that when we started this series, it would grow into what you see now. Delivering an exclusive mix on a weekly basis, from a range of DJ's & artists, headliner's, label bosses, industry legends, up and coming talent and even our own members. The series has grown from strength to strength, gaining recognition from the highest levels of power within our scene, raising a few eyebrows along the way.

It seemed only right to mark such a prestigious occasion as this by delivering a mix that will go down in history. Always keen to top what's come before, the Progcast this week features arguably one of THE biggest names in our world right now... FRAMEWERK!

Framewerk (aka Darren James and Alec Milliner) have been long establishing an eclectic electronic style that defies genres yet maintains a deep distinctive atmosphere throughout all their music. With influences ranging from 70’s prog rock to 80’s electro, the duo both found a home in the UK acid house scene of the late 80’s and later joined together to form the group “Manhattan” during the mid-90’s progressive house era. 

These decades of dedicated development and unrelenting passion have kept Darren and Alec continuously at the forefront of the underground electronic music scene. Their work today as “Framewerk” showcases their diverse styles and innate abilities to create and share music that represents the best of the golden eras with a fresh, modern sound all their own.

Using their understanding of quality music to run their well-established imprint Capital Heaven, Framewerk continue to influence the industry with their unique perspective.

No DJ here folks, just a 20 year HUGE fan of breakbeats, mostly FL breaks (Did i have a choice??? Tampa/Jamlando owned the late 90's and early 2000's break scene in the US!!!) now really loving the new feel of breakstep and dubstep, but still cant get enough of a great breakbeat and a nasty bassline with just the right vocal!!! 

Producing dance music professionally since 1996, Seth Vogt has watched many dance music genera trends and music making technologies evolve at a steady pace. Originally a classically trained musician from Erie Pennsylvania, he discovered electronic dance music after moving to Orlando Florida to study recording engineering in the late 90’s. 

After being mentored by the late great Bill Hamel (two time Grammy nominee and founder of Fatum), Seth has gone on to work with some of the biggest names in dance music. 
Projects include remixes, collaborations, vocals, and original productions for artists such as Rihanna, The Script, 69 Boyz, Korn, Bill Hamel, Trina, Under This, Quivver, Noel Sanger, Randy Seidman, Ido, Da Fresh, 2 Tall Keith, Oliver Harper, Avlish, Katrin Souza, DJ Zombi, Cramp, Alex Lorensso, Magnetic Ghost, Micke, Dustin Hulton and more…

Seth Vogt also has current and upcoming releases on many prestigious labels such as Def Jam, Atlantic, Black Hole, Bonzai, Forensic, Jive, Dissident, Revolt, Sirup, Rebel House, Good News, Bomba, Dog Eat Dog, Gigabeat, iBreaks, Toast & Jam, as well as many others. 

Seth Vogt was the resident DJ for HouseFlyz club nights in downtown Orlando for over 10 years. He has also DJed throughout the United States both headlining and on opening duty for many big name acts (Sander Kleinenberg, Quivver, Judah, Seb Fontaine, Keoki, Fatum, and Kristina Sky to name a few). Seth’s smooth laid back style of progressive house and breakbeat with a keen attention to melodic detail, has helped him to stand out in the ever evolving world of electronic dance music.
