THE 40oz Profits

The first single they recorded was Jack that Big Bootay featuring Fools Gold and Mad Decent recording artist DJ Gant-Man. Next, having Diplo listening to the demo, followed by Diplo asked if it was available. It soon then released on Mad Decent's Soundcloud and blog; the single Received over 40,000 plays in a week.
Following the success of the first single they then decided to do a bootleg remix of Panjabi Mc - Mundian To Bach Ke. After receiving play from DJ Green Lantern on his BBC Radio 1 Diplo and friends radio show mix, the two received an email from Panjabi Mc himself asking to collaborate on a project. Forwarding their success the two did a remix of Malik Yousef (Wouldn't you like to ride) featuring Kanye West, Common and J V for S&S Records. They soon hit the top ten on Beatport's hip hop chart; outselling the likes of Bassnectar, Flosstradamus, Brosafari and many others in the same genre. They impressed S&S records so much that they were given the opportunity to remix Throwin Money by Twista Featuring R Kelley.
Shortly after the two have teamed up with their Chicago home boy $lim Picken$ to remix UK's DIM MAK recording artist Will Bailey's (Big Bad Bass), to yet have another top 10 seller. This lead them to do an original with Chicago's #1 Dance Party Porn and Chicken's Orville Kline and Fool's Gold and Dim Mak's artist featuring a remix Ditroit Legend DJ Godfather. Both tracks receiving top 100 statuses with the original hitting the top 10 yet again.
Now having 4 top 100's, the 40oz Profits were asked by Bad Boy Bill to Remix the smash hit Shake That Ass featuring Malik of the Outhere Brothers, the two had finally hit #1 on Beatport Hip Hop Top 100 charts to have 5 top 100's simultaneously. Shake That Ass continued to stay top 10 for four months and top 100 for nearly 6 months, which now brings us up to date with the 40oz Profits in the studio with multi-platinum record, grammy award winning Sid Wilson of the world famous Slipknot, recoding a new single called The Smoke Out.
In less than a year’s time, the two have solidified an monthly residency at Beta Nightclub in Denver (awarded best nightclub in denver, #1 club rated by DJ Magazine in the US, #1 club by Rolling Stone Magazine ) and have played cities like Chicago, San Francisco, Minneapolis and Wisconsin.
