Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @thebrvtalistxx for its thirty fifth episode of Amplify Series.

The Brvtalist is a writer, promoter and DJ with a focus on mutant metropolitan culture. Since 2013, the platform of the same name has featured, collaborated and/or performed with a variety of artists across multiple disciplines including Void Vision, Drab Majesty, Ancient Methods, Ayarcana, VTSS, Silent Servant, Nene H, SPFDJ and more. As a DJ, The Brvtalist fuses together a mix of techno, industrial, EBM, acid and rave, playing both sides of the Atlantic, from Los Angeles to New York, Berlin, London, Kyiv and Paris. 

In 2020, The Brvtalist launched his namesake label, Brvtalist Sound Recordings, which has since released music from Wvalaam Klous, madwoman, Alessandro Nero, UNREALNUMBERS, Soraä, Hybral x Lesser Of and forthcoming releases include EPs from Mercury 200, Might Be Twins and more. 

For over nine years, The Brvtalist has morphed into various party concepts - conjuring raves, live concerts, film screenings, fashion launches and beyond and is currently presenting Brvtal Vision, a party series, in Barcelona (w/Unlocked), Riga (w/Sublimation), Berlin, Warsaw and soon beyond. 

Through the website of the same name, the renown podcast series, New Brvtalism, the Brvtalist S.R. imprint and over 10 years of experience as a DJ, The Brvtalist aims to expose different elements which all share the same dark romantic allure.

Además, acaba de lanzar su propio sello de vinilo llamado @drei_vinyl , el cual ya cuenta con su primera referencia lista para ser lanzada. Este sello tiene como objetivo inspirar el sonido y las raíces del techno, y contará con la participación de grandes leyendas de nuestra escena musical.

I am based in Berlin and born in Hamburg, where the experimental music scene shaped my perspective on sound. Also the classical background in piano put the focus in early age on selecting and playing music.
My emotional Techno journeys are seeking high energy levels in a playful way, with twists of Trance, Gabber and beyond. I feel most comfortable outside of the comfort zone!


 • What are your artistic influences apart from electronic music ? 
I am deeply rooted in the experimental/noise scene and also enjoy post punk, dark wave, old japanese pop, hardcore punk and ambient black metal. I also feel influenced by art in general and love to visit exhibitions and museums.
