“Sufferance” was my most notable contribution from my previous band American Stonehenge

As in, no recorded music stemming from us. I was the band’s only bassist and longest serving member besides it’s founder, B Genz) w/ partial credit due to B Genz**

DADGBE (unlike other demos, which are typically Triple or Quadruple tracked, the rhythm guitars are only Doubled Hard L & R w/ the Bass panned Center. This is why this track seems quieter than usual. Some extra space was kept in mind for Vox & Drums. This particular demo was recorded after “Radiancy-Side A”. 🧠📚

Musician and developing songwriter, constantly working on tones and guitar stereo mix buses. Looking to connect with other musicians. Uploads were recorded in AmpliTube mobile. “Radiancy” is the main project, “A Fool in Denial” features is considered a “B-side” with other tracks not featured on Side-A and includes more content from my buddy Poptimus Crime (Help me, help him). The other 3 playlists are dedicated and arranged by category, respectively. 

(i.e.- “Chronic Persistence” is just listing the entire recording process over a course of 2+ years in Chronological Order, “FTFOA” is just me being cheesey with soft songs and I’m still kicking myself in the shin for not getting a chance to include the isolated Bass tracks of “To Always Love You” (The Bass on that one is so muffled. Tone is a lot brighter than you think in isolation and it’s lost in the mix during the interlude) and “Terra Scrape” (I pulled the faders on all the tracks WAY DOWN, and MAXED out the Output Compression for a tighter sound. I usually pull the Fader on most of my Bass tracks (C-mono. All recordings have just one Bass track) from about -(16db) to about-(25ish db). Most of my Rhythm guitar tracks are Triple (Left -Reduced Center - Right) or Quad tracked (Hard L- 75% L- 75% R - Hard R) and panned L & R for “Stereo Imaging” and are only reduced by -(4db) to -(7.5db or 11.5db for Tri-Tracking) depending on EQ. Only “Silent but Seen” is simply just 3 audio tracks mixed together (Double tracked Rhythms hard L & R, Bass Center). AmpliTube offers 8 audio tracks to work under their REC (🔴) section; Only “To Let Go of the Rope” is 8 tracks. 

“Poptimus Crime” is NOT an existing band, that’s just Kev’s username on here. “Sufferance” from the A side of “Radiancy” has origins from my previous band American Stonehenge (Founded in 2015 in Lowell MA- to 2018 where we relocated back to Auburn NH). During a post-Stonehenge break up period, I remained band mates with B Genz in what was last known as Adversité (Pronounced “Adversity”) for an additional year after a brief hiatus (we lasted Fall 2018-Spring of 2020) and was a present member during the last farewell show. “Sufferance” is the only known discography stemming from the dissolved MA/NH based American Stonehenge (Stonehenge evolved into Adversité and I was the 2nd longest serving member as Bassist of both, and we eventually collapsed within ourselves due to excessive lineup changes over our nearly 5 year tenure). 

“In the Wind” was another musical idea I had while playing Bass for Adversité, but the idea never really got off the ground…..(Nearing dissolution).

So essentially, “Sufferance” & “In the Wind” (they were my ideas that had some previous rehearsal sessions jammed into them. “Influence” from rehearsal sessions) are the closest thing to a demonstration the world will ever see of the now defunct (and extinct) Lowell MA/Auburn NH based bands American Stonehenge & Adversité…………

***Equipment/Gear used besides the AmpliTube app include my Ibanez RGRT421 strung with D’addario Medium gauge Balanced Tension nickel wound guitar strings (.011-.050”) and my Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass strung with Rotosound Swing 66 stainless steel Heavy gauge roundwound bass strings (.050-.110”), Dunlop Flow .88mm 💚 picks for guitar and the T3 (Tortex III) 1.35mm 🖤 for bass (some songs I played finger style). Some variation to this list are featured on the recordings (sometimes I like to experiment with different tones via different strings/picks) but this is a general rule of thumb. Pedals/live stomp boxes featured on the recordings include a Tech 21 SansAmp, Darkglass Microtubes X (SansAmp + Darkglass are for just the bass tracks) MXR M77 overdrive (sold but featured on the guitars) and an Ibanez TS9B (bass tube screamer. Love the clean mix control and even use the TS9B on guitar. I also love to pair the TS9B after the Microtubes X & SansAmp for more gain on bass). Amp & Cab sims are left secret for a bit of mystique***
