London-based producer Nebraska delivers his ‘Drill Deep’ EP with three sample based productions, including the title track that features a disco motif primed for the dancefloor.

Following releases on Rush Hour, Heist, Delusions of Grandeur and Mister Saturday Night​, Nebraska now turns his attention to the Brooklyn based imprint Razor-N-Tape’s sub-label, Razor-N-Tape Reserve. He's been known for a plethora of musical styles, but ‘Drill Deep’ showcases the more upbeat side to his musical persona while also highlighting his skill using eclectic samples.

For producing the material, Nebraska dug deep into his sample library: “Though not all made in the same period of time, these three tracks all feature drums sampled and chopped from vinyl copies of reggae records paired with samples from 70s soul productions – I prefer things to sound a little crackly and rough, that basement-y, sound system type of vibe.”

Nebraska’s ‘Drill Deep’ EP will be released March 29 on "easter yellow" 12" vinyl.

NYC party boiiiiiiz Homage first foray into the label game comes via a four track EP from Brighton-based disco producer Tech Support - who, with no discography to his name aside from a couple self-released EPs on Bandcamp, is also essentially making his debut here. The Tech Support formula - as is displayed on this EP - combines bangin' and funky percussion with classic discoboogie flavors to craft modern midtempo edits that are nicely beefed up for the dancefloor. And with that introduction, let's take a gander at Inside Out.

"Feel It", which is our premiere for today and sits in the A1 slot of the record, employs those beefy beats mentioned earlier to start things off. A thick kick/clap combo adorned by tasty auxillary percussion builds and breaks (with birds chirping in the background) before being joined by the glorious horn section of the main course. The arrangement loops a nice little boogie lick; mean bassline, sweet guitars and a fluttering synthesizer stab included. Next thing you know, the vocals are joining the party. It's a clever little cut that extends the most savory components of the original into an extended, midtempo disco joint that could sit with ease in a housier set.

Accompanying the lead track is a grip of three more cuts of disco house sleaze, which will surely be revealed by other outlets in the coming weeks. Inside Out is a nice little introduction to both parties involved. Tech Support blends the boundaries between disco edits and more nu disco/indie dance production here, combining both heavy sampling as well as his own hardware work. Meanwhile, Homage gives us a taste of what's to come from the label - party rockin' sample based cuts and edits designed for the New York dancefloor. The Inside Out EP is due out in the coming months and will be available on vinyl and digital formats.

Change-The glow of love (EP Re-edit)

after my last France Gall edit, I decided to keep in mind the idea to do free edits whenever I feel there is a reason and a meaning behind it.

I won't get into the details too much cause it's personal but this summer I lost someone who has been important in my life on the last years due to an impossibility of looking to the same direction, to move on cultural differences but more than that, due to being separated by visas / borders issues. 
this edit is my way of paying my tribute to everything that we shared and to how much I feel miserable living in a world like the one we're living in these days.

seeing how millions of ppl are unable to go where they want to just because of their passport colours, experiencing friends and ppl I care about being kicked out of the country they have been cherishing for years, a country they made a home of, it changed me and I hope to find ways to humbly help on this matter in the future.

I'm happy of everything I've been able to record on this edit with new stuff I bought for the studio, guitars, drums, bass, all played live.
