It doesn't matter whether you like Beethoven, The Beatles, or Beyoncé. Your taste in music will change with you over time. As long as you're enjoying it, you're doing it right... Unless you're enjoying Nickelback, then (and I'm honestly trying to be positive here) you should go kill yourself. 

Music is the moonlight in the gloomy night of life. It expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent. It will be there for you, even when people aren't. Without music, life would be a mistake. It is a core function of our humanity. For as long as the human race has existed, we have been making music. It transcends space, time, and holds the potential to bring people together. So go, listen to music, support good artists, and live your life so well that Death will tremble to take you.
