SetList NYC - Podcast #2 feat. Belle Mare, Redfoot and Bird Courage - 5/6/13

In our third Podcast, I spent some time with the amicable Erin Rauch-Sasseen, (one of three sisters in the five-piece alt pop group Hey Anna) in her edgy, yet easygoing, Greenpoint neighborhood (apologies for the ambient sounds from the street on a pleasant Monday evening). 

We featured the band in our first podcast, as I was quite impressed by their debut Selt-Titled EP. Now they have just released their 2nd follow-up EP, titled Pompette, and we discuss her contributions to the upbeat and frivolous party favor,(the song she wrote, "Superglue", is featured at the end of the podcast) in addition to the sentiment inspired by the French title. We also of course dig into the family ties and get some perspective on Erin's songwriting processes. Pay close attention to this bunch, they are definitely on to something. - Nass

SetList NYC - Podcast #3 - Interview with Erin Rauch-Sasseen (of Hey Anna)

SetList NYC was formed out of the belief that the majority of tickets that go unsold at concerts is due to an unaware/uninformed consumer. Especially in a market as rich and diverse as New York City, on any given day, it's easy for promising local and touring acts to be overshadowed by the plethora of options out there or even the bands they are supporting on a bill. SetList endeavours to create a community of live music enthusiasts and exercise this most engaging form of music discovery.

On this page we will share our findings and recommendations in case it can serve as a resource to any/everyone from the A&R executive, booking agent, venue promoter or even to the visiting tourist. Speaking of resources, these recommendations wouldn't' be possible without the guidance of outstanding and comprehensive local filters like OHMYROCKNESS, Brooklyn Vegan and others. SetList NYC intends to be a mixtape or sampling if you will of all those great resources based of course on our particular palette.
