This song is driven by heavy, wurling bass lines, percussive rhythm, and an energized vocal tone. The chorus is memorable and anthemic.

I've been inspired by the Beastie Boys a lot lately. I think that influenced the tone of this record. Plus, I got my dad - Andrew Caruk - to lay down some trumpet samples for me.

Aside from the trumpet part, I wrote and recorded all the parts myself. Some of the parts (aka the drum parts, and a couple guitar samples), are Apple Loops. I chopped everything up, mixed it, and mastered it myself.
