Very excited to have a special guest in our podcast. The notorious @diskokatze was found roaming through our Bassword Podcast and left some undeniable marks on his journey. Buckle up for straight forward minimal techno underlined with psychedelic elements. Keeping the perfect balance between progressive basslines and deep vibes sweetened with playful spacy sounds, you really can get lost in his music. Raik alias Diskokatze had in the last two years over 200 gigs where he made many people happy with his signature sound. To name a few adresses, he played at Jonny Knüppel, Burg Schnabel, Hamburger BAALSAAL & Fundbureau as well as Best Bar Khao San Road in Bangkok or the  legendaey Oxa Beach Koh Phangan. 

In 2018 Raik alias Diskokatze and a couple of friends established the „Free-Open Air Kollektiv Exit“ to organize their first events in the bush of our capital. 1 year later the next project was in its starting gates and he found the music and event label „Katzenjammer Rec. Berlin“.
Besides he had a great share in realising the „Jubeljahre Festival“ in Galenbeck. He was in charge of design and construction of the stage. 


Born and raised at the Ostsee, you can now find him in Berlin!

Superstition Records proudly releases Nineties Reloaded – Superstition Classics Reimagined, an authoritative anthology of the legendary 1990s catalogue of the label, updated for contemporary floors and ears. 

Here, in a 20-track anthology, era-defining trance, techno and progressive tracks are revisited with a carefully curated set of remixes by some of the genre’s most iconic names, spanning the pioneering era of European club culture and the future direction of contemporary electronic music.

At its very centre are two solo standouts:
L.S.G.: “Netherworld (BLR X Hel:sløwed Remix)” – A peak-time anthem for 2025, combining BLR’s dark, propulsive production and Hel:sløwed’s euphoric progressive subtlety to re-envision one of trance’s most enduring classics.

Energy 52: “Café Del Mar (Oliver Lieb Extended 2 Remix)” – A decades-long secret reworking by none other than Oliver Lieb himself, emerging from the vault for the first time and presenting an atmospheric but forceful new take on one of electronic’s greatest ever songs.

A friend of mine asked me if I could do a remix of the first track on the set, so I said I could do it for sure and it turned out to be a whole set that I couldn't let go of anytime soon. My heart wanted to say something, so I let it speak.

Bluster of the Sea is pushing forward driving techno track, that was created in the hard first weeks of the 1st Lockdown and was inspired by hard winds roaming around my balcony and make me cursing all the time. I tried to bring that energy and power into that track and than it feels like a Bluster Of the Sea. 
Phase Shifter is a typical cosmic melodic techno track, that catches you from the first moment with its flogging kick, hands up breaks and powerful drops directly to the floor.

Cosmic Boys - Dawn (Tom Pooks Remix) Preview LGD024

2020 was a  whirlwind launch for Atlanta based Sam WOLFE who's sound can be described as a blend of big, dark, and aggressive energy.

His Debut EP Triangulum reached #1 overall Beatport release. This landed his music the attention of Spanish techno powerhouse & founder of Reload Records [Techno], The YellowHeads who teamed up for their debut collab Hippodrome , reaching beatport #4 techno hype #16 techno world top 100, receiving support from various techno legends including UMEK  From there he's released his debut EP on Christian Smith 's imprint, Tronic, which again topped the Beatport overall release charts at #1, and received support from Bart Skils  Joseph Capriati Richie Hawtin Marco Carola Steve Lawler Monika Kruse Oliver Huntemann Tocadisco Claude VonStroke and many other tier 1 techno acts. He's even crossed over with support from Trance and Progressive giants Markus Schulz , Ben Gold, Genix, & Paul Thomas.
