We welcome the Italian artist Sardu with his Astris EP on Mirror Records. The title track Astris consists of a dark vibe punctuated by a high and haunting melody creating a very thrilling and captivating experience. The second track Polarity takes a more straightforward approach with a more repetitive melody, strong drums and heavy bass. On the flip side of the EP are two individual remixes of Astris. The first one by FREYA features many additional atmospheric elements and a captivating bassline. The second remix by Gizmo & Mac takes the listener straight into a shady warehouse rave full of bass, sweat and strobes. All in all, this is a heavy techno release not to be missed!
