Juicy beats and flippy drops are to be expected when he is behind the decks. His roots are in Ravensburg, the city of Rave in southern Germany. Meanwhile he lives in Berlin and flips his tunes all over the scene.

✔️ What are your musical influences? What is your musical background?

Metal, Hardcore, Metalcore, Rock and everything else with heavy guitars in it :D

✔️What makes good "afterhour"?

Really good people around me, a Spezi and fresh socks!


✔️ Do you have any thoughts you would like to share about your set?

I'd say it's a 'classic Intaktogene set' - lots of basslines, lots of melodies, quite some vocals but always driving.  I play what I missed the most on dance floors. Music with melodies that touch the heart and a bassline finding it's way right into your bones. Making your feet move even if you're exhausted. 

✔️ What was your experience of the set you recorded?

I love playing at Rote Dichte, it brings together so many different people and I have the sweetest encounters every time. Last year a couple came up to me saying in 25 years of raving they have never cried until my set because it touched them so much. They were there again this year and even brought me a little gift. HOW Sweet is that!

People feeling what I feel whilst I play means the most to me because first of all it's exactly what I try to do 'Musik mit Herz und Wumms' (Music with Heart & Oomph). Secondly - it's so special when there is a floor full of completely different people,  all feeling the same thing for one moment. If we had more of that in the world, many problems would be solved so much easier

In welchen musikalischen Stilrichtungen siehst du dich?
Ich selber bezeichne es gerne als “Spacy Techno”. Ich würde es als einen Mix aus Dark Melodic Techno, Psytechno und Indiedance bezeichnen. Richtig festlegen kann ich mich da nicht. Ich verbinde gerne mehrere Stile miteinenader und lasse mich auf die jeweilige Stimmung der Veranstaltung ein. 

Wie bist du zu deinem DJ-Namen gekommen?
Als ich gerade angefangen hatte aufzulegen, bekam ich spontan einen Festival Gig, hatte aber noch keinen DJ Namen. Bis zum nächsten Tag sollte ich mir was überlegen. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt war ich gerade Campen am Strand und hatte in der Nacht zuvor mit einem Teleskop einige Sterne beobachtet. Einer davor war aus einer “Supernova” entstanden, also aus einer Sternen-Explosion am Ende der Lebenszeit eines Sterns. Der Begriff “Supernova” und dass daraus wieder etwas Neues ensteht, gefiel mir richtig gut. Ich entschied, dass in meinem Fall mein DJ Projekt, so entstehen sollte, was ich dann etwas abgewandelt “nøvae” genannt habe.

Wo willst du unbedingt mal spielen?
Auf der ФУЗИОН !

Hast du ein absolutes Lieblingsset?
Ja, das Andhim Set von der Fusion 2012! Ich war damals das erste mal dort und kann das Set bis heute rauf und runter hören <3 (Sorry, einige Leute können es glaube ich nicht mehr hören, haha)

Welche Artists haben dich inspiriert oder inspirieren dich noch immer?
Diese Liste könnte unendlich lang werden, da ich in den verschiedenen Phasen meiner Entwicklung immer wieder neue sehr inspirierende Artists entdecke. Seit Jahren gehören auf jeden Fall Mollono.Bass, Lampé, Anyma, Hidden Empire und Township Rebellion dazu, um mal eine Hand voll zu nennen....

Gibt es bestimmte Rituale oder Gewohnheiten, die du vor einem Auftritt hast, um dich vorzubereiten?
Nicht direkt. Ich bin aber gerne etwas früher bei der jeweiligen Veranstaltung um schon mal die Technik zu checken und den Vibe der Veranstaltung mitzunehmen :)

Wenn du nur noch einen Track für den Rest deiner Karriere spielen könntest, welcher wäre es und warum?
Tristesse von Kollektiv Turmstrasse. Das war einer der ersten Tracks der vor über 10 Jahren mein Interesse für die elektronische Musik geweckt hat. Ein Freund hat ihn mir damals gezeigt mit dem Video von Fantasia dazu. An die Zeit denke ich sehr gerne zurück <3

Was machst du sonst gerne in deiner Freizeit?
Ich liebe es  zu verreisen und in der Natur unterwegs zu sein. Ich mache außerdem Yoga, spiele Tennis und hab immer irgendein Projekt an dem ich gerade herumbastel. 

Was ist dein Lieblingsessen?
Selbstgemachtes Curry mit ganz viel Gemüse.

Was willst du der Welt noch mitteilen?
Dazu ließe sich ein ganzes Buch schreiben... Ich fasse es aber mal kurz zusammen: Seid nett zu euch, euren Mitmenschen und der Natur! Es gibt keinen Planet B!
