Hot Creations welcome back Fabio Neural and DJ Fronter who join forces once again for their second release on the label titled Ding Dong. Following on from their success with the first release, the eagerly anticipated second drops in May. 

“After the popularity we saw with ‘Brr Baby Brr’ on our last EP on Hot Creations, we have tried to follow the same mood that has characterised the collaboration between myself and DJ Fronter. The title track opens proceedings, plunging straight into a heavy 4x4 beat, creating a stripped back, minimalistic base, expertly layered with finely chopped vocals. Fog horn like sounds and sharp percussion bring the piece together, resulting in a raw, industrial experience. Shocked follows, encapsulating the Hot Creations sound in true style, packed full of energy. Riveting bass lines paired with fan fare-esque melodies lay at the forefront of the track, transporting the listener to a bustling, colourful dancefloor. 

Fabio Neural threw himself into the music industry at an early age. His productions have seen him release on Steve Lawler's Viva Music and feature in Pete Tong’s 500th Essential Mix. His eclectic DJ sets have enabled him to share the stage with heavyweights such as Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin and Adam Beyer. Colombian native DJ Fronter, has become one of the greatest promises to come out of South America with releases often being seen at the top of the Beatport charts. He has captured the ears of the likes of Paco Osuna, DJ Sneak and Matthias Tanzmann and can be seen touring across the globe.

Luke Slater is back as Planetary Assault Systems with another iconic EP titled ‘Devotion’. As a trailblazer in techno with anticipation ahead of every release, Slater appoints complementary scene Truncate and Barker for the remixes.

‘Devotion’ opens the EP with what can only be described as raw drum machine psychosis. Slater whips up multiple, classic tom-based 909 sequences with impact - he keeps things straight to the point before introducing the defining vocal sample. Truncate remixes the track by stripping it down to its bare essentials and emphasizing the rumbling kicks. He also gives the track his own flare of groove elements that build stylistic progression throughout the track.

Premiere: Planetary Assault Systems ” Devotion” (Truncate Remix) - Token Records

Depois de chegar cedinho e conhecer o club inteiro, o Rogério lenda viva do D-Edge e responsável pelo som me convidou a escutar um Metallica no sound system da pista principal do club, após ter 3 arrepios escutando Enter The Sandman no talo, comecei a me preparar para tocar nessa mesma pista. Ok hora de ajustar o equipamento para tocar, Sync OFF, Quantize ON, me vê uma Heineken, um pendrive falhou, normal, 23h59! Tudo certo, vamos lá. 

No começo pro meio do set busquei flutuar bastante para manter a vibe de warm-up sempre presente, desde o começo já tinha uma galera bem animada, a 1 AM faltando ainda 1 hora para o DJ principal da noite assumir os decks, a pista encheu derrepente, lotando o club, caralhooo! Bora!

Nessa hora comecei a buscar algumas tracks de drop mais longo para segurar um pouco mais tensão da galera por um certo período, a pista respondeu super bem, estamos esquentando.

Com a noite evoluindo, percebi a vontade dos tripulantes da nave em decolar,  passei a deixar algumas mixagens mais secas deixando o povo mais acesso até a hora de passar os decks, daqui pra frente comecei a tocar algumas tracks que eu estava com muita vontade de tocar e escutar, mãos pra cima! Geral dançou comigo até o final.

Assim foi um pouco da noite em que toquei na D-edge pela primeira vez.
