I'm really happy to introduce you to a new series of double singles that will be out on my beloved @LLLCLUB.
First up are Requesting Backup / MF. Hustler, two tracks heavily in the bass music domain with distorted breakbeats, vocals from the hardcore continuum and transcendentals atmospheres.

I got a lot of tracks I've been sitting on, some tailored for the club, some not so much, which will be coming in this new format pretty soon. We are also re-lauching the Lonely Life Lovers Club label, with some amazing artists and quite a long release list... Expect some weird shit, club bangers and emotional electronics !

We did the mix of the tracks together with my good friend Simon Nicolas, mastering duty was made by the ever-skilled Paulie Jan and the artwork is a collab between my dear Elvire Menetrier and myself.

After quite some time without releasing my music, I'm extremely happy to keep going with this new series of double singles featuring tracks I've been sitting on. Some tracks are tailored for the club, some not so much, but they all share a common feeling of universal loneliness and are a bit more grim than what I used you to.
This one is for all the lovers around us. It starts with La Distance Entre Nous, a song for when you doubt about everything, even when you're not supposed to. But Moments Of Care reminds you that you should trust the ones you love. It's not often that you meet people who matter, and when you do..

La Distance Entre Nous / Moments Of Care

Hey, this is me again.
I'm back with another double single, and this time we're on the banger side !
The first track, Fléau, was originally, believe it or not, an attempt at making deep house, and well, it kind of got away from the concept. While being really slow for my tastes, 120 bpm, the tracks seems to be rolling at really high speed thanks to its psy bassline. Skull crushing percs and a distorted resonant lead are filling every space left between the martial kicks, giving the feeling that you're doing a speedrun of some tribal survival horror game.
Then, Mille Hivers. Going totally in the opposite direction with its 11m22, the track is a full psychedelic trip in itself. It starts with a really long sample of Akira, just to set the mood you know, and then a Keith Flint's sample wakes you up from this dream, to slowly take you into another nightmare. Hoovers like swift bullets, syncopated breaks, and eerie voices set the tone, till they eventually reach the underground sea they were digging for, to drown you in a deep, black, icy lake.
Two very different tracks here, but a common harsh and cold bite, to feel with your skin.

Fléau / Mille Hivers

Hey you.
I'm really happy to share with you the final opus of my double single series ! It's called Another Boys Band / The Lunatics.
While both tracks testify for my taste for jungle music, they are, in a sense, kinda opposite. 
The first track, Another Boys Band, starts with a nudge to DJ hype, and his legendary "Weird Energy" track, and goes into bro mode for a constructive chat between Korn and Limp Bizkit frontmen... A ridiculous cock fight between two alpha men, supported by a deep subbass and eviscerating breaks, ending only in misunderstanding and mental breakdown; just like the real thing.
On the other side, The Lunatics' gut-twirling atmosphere is based on a re/de-constructed Genesis P-Orridge interview, in which they talk about their chirurgical interventions, to melt two bodies into one. Rolling breaks and a typical distorted reese leads you to them, praising, while a pristine pad will bring you relief before a final breath.
Imagine industrial music's top controversial character and neo-metal bros confronting their huge egos, admitting their fears and kissing each other on fast paced jungle music.

This is a piece I did for the french radio France Culture. 
I wanted to test the resistance of our hearing by destroying, altering and mixing together some easily recognizable sounds with my own creations.
The result is something like a strange dj set, where you get lost in between meaningless stabs of sounds and horrific abstract atmospheres.
