La despedida de la alianza ahoraxECO, en este último día de marzo, estará a cargo de una artista de primer nivel. Nacida en Manizales del alma y radicada en Friburgo, Alemania, profesa un amor profundo por el electro y los breaks a la hora de seleccionar. El sonido de los sintetizadores de vieja usanza, las atmósferas oscuras, el acid y el EBM son algunas de sus influencias; factores determinantes de la identidad que transmite tras los controles. Recibimos a Juana Valeria en lo que será la clausura del mes en que conmemoramos la lucha y las gestas femeninas.

Das Repertoire der hauseigenen Expeditionsleiter ist erschöpft, doch es gibt noch einige weiße Stellen auf der musikalischen Landkarte. Deswegen unterstützt uns heute ein junger, frischer und dynamischer Guide aus dem Team “Clubberware” (@clubberware). Die Rede ist von Johann, welcher dich unter dem Namen “aber.” (@a_b_e_r) auf trancige und techige Pfade entführen wird. Wenn Johann mal besonders Lust auf Downtempo und Dark Disco hat, legt er auch als “Johann Kaspar” (@johannkasparliezo) für das Team “ℓiɛzo͂” (@liezo) auf. Beim Auflegen verfolgt er die Prämisse, dass seine Musik positive Emotionen weckt und nicht zu düster wird. (Anmerkung der Distrikt-Presseabteilung: auch düstere und kraftvolle Klänge lassen Herzen höher schlagen!)
Technoide Klänge hat er in leipziger Clubs wie dem Elipamanoke, der Distillery und dem IfZ lieben gelernt. So richtig blüht er auf, wenn die Dynamik einer Feier, viele fremde Menschen für einen Abend zu Freunden macht. Wenn Johann sich mal nicht mit Hingabe um das Wohlergehen der Tanzmeute kümmert, umsorgt er freizeitlich auch liebevoll seine Gartenpflanzen.

The four-track EP highlights n-trip’s approach to sound design and atmosphere, moving fluidly between submerged textures, heavyweight rhythms and raw machine energy. MML' is built around a pounding bass drum and flickering glacial synths, maintaining a taut tension across its runtime.

awakening element on the EP of @cecilia_berlin. Bright, loud and rousing. The sharp and punchy analog kicks accompanied by wavy and flat pads determine the vibe.

La Loba shifts through the mountains and riverbeds looking for wolf bones, and when she has assembled an entire skeleton and the creature is laid out before her, she sits by the fire and thinks about what song she will sing. And when she is sure, she stands over the creature, raises her arms over it, and sings out, the wolf creature begins to breathe.

Every woman knows the feeling of being emotionally torn. Feelings come over you, extremely unpredictable. They are simply there. And just as quickly they are gone again. Such a cycle always comes to an end and everything settles down again.

Her previous track ,"Disorder", speaks of the wild chaotic inner life of the female being. "Order", stands for the surface; the external effect behind which this wildness often finds its hiding place. Tidy, balanced, and adapted.
In apparent harmony with the outer world.

The two tracks stand for the familiar experience of the turmoil inside, and the foreign perception outside; how these perceptions are partly mirrored and partly distorted.

This is an interpretation of the great rumanian artist Microlab which we have learned to cherish a lot!

Cecilia Tosh's previous release 'Disorder' speaks of the wild chaotic inner life of the female being. 'Order' stands for the surface, the appearance behind, where this wildness often finds its hiding place. Ordered, balanced, adapted. In seeming harmony with the outside world.

The two tracks stand for the artist as the experience of the torn-ness on the inside and the external perception from the outside. How these perceptions are partly mirrored and partly extremely different.

As co-founder of SEV Berlin, Cecilia Tosh has established a powerful network that supports newcomer DJs and producers in club culture. Playing minimal, dub techno and techno Cecilia made her way through Berlin‘s world famous club scene since 2018. She is resident DJ at Kater Blau, and had various gigs at Golden Gate Berlin, Wilde Renate, Sisyphos, Garbicz Festival, Sputnik in Tel Aviv, Pergamon in Jerusalem, Crie de la Mouette in Toulouse and others.
