‘Paradise’ lives up to its name with its deft counterplay of grizzly electrified bass and rising uplifting chords. A perfect contrast of shades punctuated by a hypnotic one-word vocal sample, if this is paradise then we’re investing in some serious real estate and moving there as soon as possible. 

‘Cicatrice’ wears its dancefloor scars with pride as an unruly fusion of bass textures writhe and fuse beneath a loose-limbed light-footed jack. Rough round the edges and unabashed in its darkside steps, it’s the sound of techno getting lean on low end… And loving it. 

Finally Jonathan invites us to get a little ‘Mellow’. A place where the elastic, warped-out bass entangles us in a strange hypnotic state only to wake us again as it stretches back in our faces… It’s an offer we can’t refuse. 

Fine-tuning a sound that fits Pets perfectly but also lives in a world of its own yet froths over into so many different corners of the dance, Jonathan Kaspar is absolutely smashing it on a unique level here. Paradise found.

Stripped Down Records is a brand new label that will focus on raw grooves. Founded by Claudio Ricci and Christian and Monika Zorn, the first release comes from Ricci and features essential remixes from Timo Maas & Basti Grub, Kintar and Metodi Hristov.
Claudio Ricci has nearly 20 years experience in dance music with his music taking cues from all genres and coming on labels like Compost and MoBack. As a DJ he is just as diverse and always leans on more organic sounds and rich melodies. His timeless single here is a great way to kick off the new label.
Entitled ‘Warschauer Strasse’, it is seven excellently expansive minutes of twisted synths that bring real tension to deep house drums. Cosmic keys take the track into intergalactic realms and as the pads percolate they continue to bring raw energy to the groove.
The first remix comes from long time techno heavyweight and Rockets & Ponies boss Timo Maas and the prolific and inventive Basti Grub. Their singular remix speeds up the original and layers in fluttering toms and percussive sounds as well as broad, groaning synths and the distant sound of a bustling city at rush hour. It swells and sinks back a number of times to keep you locked and along for a most thrilling ride.

Claudio Ricci - Warschauer Strasse (Timo Maas & Basti Grub Strolling Around Warschauer Remix)

Light and groovy, with a shaking bass line and some mystic synth elements to get you into the groove: We say welcome Lexer on board with his "Hideout" EP. the title track with it's vocals is a perfect summer drop within every set under the sun. "Me So Bad" comes a bit darker but full of groove and step by step the clouds are breaking and the sunbeams show up. "Indominus" with it's metropolitan attitude is something for world travellers. A diverse number with voices and vocals, a tight clap and a restless build up. On top we are bringing the instrumental version of "Hideout" and say enjoy the summer with another must have on Einmusika.

Exclusive Florian Busse 'Connection'

With already three releases on Stereo MCs' label Connected, it's safe to say that Florian Busse is more than just a steady contributor to the label but a part of the Connected-family. His upcoming four tracker 'Together' seizes the sense of community - not solely with the EP's name but in addition to that with a remix by Re.You for the title track. However, it's 'Connection' that depicts Florian Busse's preference for arps. Starting off slowly the listener gets more and more swept into the track's melodic approach as the hypnotic effect grows with every further tone it goes deeper into the track, into one's mind and links the connecting factors of both. The outcome is a track, supported by a partly crunchy bass line - mostly when the chords become softer, that beautifully presents the possible interaction between music and its recipient.

Florian Busse's EP Together' will be released on Connected May 10th, 2019.

EXCLUSIVE: Florian Busse - Connection [Connected]

In true Wide Angle Recordings style, animalZOO's 'Melody Kiss' is defined by serene melodic synth work and an unmisktakable driving energy. The original mix pairs tech-influenced percussion with a deep and rolling bassline that carries throughout. The track is accented with wonderful harmonic synths and finished with an infectious piercing melody.

The two accompanying remixes, simply put, are not for the faint of heart. If you are looking for conventional dance tracks you will not find them here. Both remixes push the boundaries of techno and take the listener on a deep exploration of sound and atmospheric textures. Tundra's One Hell of a Kiss Remix serves a broken beat, mind-warping take on the original while Jesse Somfay draws you into a deep aural spell with his Agarttha Hibernaculum For Lips Of Grey Frost Remix.
