Mysteries abound! 90% of Planet 9 was pretty much written in one felt swoop during a practice while improving with one another, after that, color was added to help elaborate on the idea. Life is full of mystery, enjoy!

The journey may start peaceful and innocent enough, but the adventures of any kind tend to get a little more complicated as things progress. The waters can get pretty choppy, and at one point, things will get so crazy you may even feel like you've lost yourself in the process. This is when you'll have to dive deep down to the bare bones of who you are and what you came here for in the first place!

Bare Bones

Rertograde Parade is meant to inspire us to never give up when it seems like on a cosmic level that all the cards are stacked against you and all your efforts, to find a way to accept any adversity as something meant to aid you along your path, not obstruct you. To celebrate and parade though any retrograde!

The one other song that was in its forming when the last album was done. We are all reflections of one another!

Mirrors

Gratis is a very emotional song that for us brings up many memories, and provides a little space to contemplate them in, with what is intended to be a happy ending. It would be my hope that in the time it takes to listen to this song you can drum up any old or new memory, and clear out any remorse or pain you may harbor on the subject.

On the Shoulders of Giants is one of two songs written or at least in the process of being written before the release of Imaginal Cells. The name is self explanatory.

Mr Duck was the first track written after the recording of Imaginal Cells. Musically it's all about feel; technically it is all about exploring capabilities and implications of looping guitar parts. When we play it live, because there are so many parts I pre-record the four main guitars before a show, and only play leads over that. The name was just the first phrase that came to mind when I asked myself, 'whats the name?' then I subtly came to the conclusion Mr Duck Is a Hyper-dimensional operative traveling the multiverse in service of some unknown high on high organization that over sees, and strives to aid in the expansion of all that is. Later it was pointed out to me that probably it subconsciously had to do with a movie called Howard the Duck I saw as a kid! ha ha
