After Uprise Audio’s successful ‘7 Days’ EP, the imprint is ready to unleash Juss B’s long-awaited, inaugural solo release. It gives off a West Coast feel that is weaved throughout the sound, featuring fellow American Ill Chill with his traditional, ice-cold vocal chords.
UA’s 13th release is scheduled for the 25th of September 2015, presenting fans 5 tracks that give voice to Juss B’s incredible taste in dubstep/bass music.

As far as innovative producers go, there aren’t many who can hold a candle to ATL’s own Shanti. Known for his
uniquely twisted take on bass heavy 140 music, Shanti has been making literal waves around the world, collecting
features on heavyweight labels such as Brunswick Sound and most recently Southpoint.

His latest EP, released via Elliptic Audio Research is truly groundbreaking stuff, focussing heavily on raw, crunchy
sound design and a collection of emotionally provoking synth sounds. The overall cohesion within the EP’s track
listing is phenomenal, bringing the phrase ‘Amphibious’ to life with such vivid colours and rhythmic progression,
similar to that of the ocean itself.

The first track ‘Portals Of Light‘ is an experience that sets off the whole project perfectly. Luscious layers of audible
aquatics sit balanced perfectly beneath sweeping synthesis alongside a beautiful key and vocal introduction. 

The progression is flawless as we move into ‘Reality Of Sonar’, which is built of a similar structure, with a twist. We’re now
below the waves rather than in the pools at the shoreline. This is where unpredictable rhythmic elements come into
play with skippy drum patterns switching at will between half-time and four by four.

The progression continues subtly into the most upbeat section of the EP entitled ‘Sensualist’. Here we start to hear
more typical Shanti styles come into play with some incredible organ work and dubbed out vocal arrangement. The
second half of the track suddenly strikes with more choppy rapid styles of drum pattern and bass sound design that
can’t help but feel Shanti has been waiting to unleash. 

Finally we start to ascend to the surface again with the
stunning arrangement of ‘Poseidon's Cove’. There isn’t much more to say than what a fantastic way to finish an
incredible musical journey. 

Shanti has certainly outdone himself with this one.

Music from the Danish producer Jens Christiansen aka Rumpistol has never been conventional. It was his ability to create experimental yet accessible electronic music that first earned him notoriety over a decade ago. Now, a new five-track collection called In My Room finds the producer leaning ever further into that absence of orthodoxy. In My Room takes artistic risk and combines threads from many electronic styles. It showcases non-linear songwriting, bold textures, and uninhibited array of sonic material. Yet despite Rumpistol’s endless tinkering and flirtations with the edge, In My Room still offers a deeply comforting listening experience.

Tempos and moods are fluid throughout this release, but the common denominator is a sense of wonder. The sort of wonder surrounding something ultimate and grand that we can’t quite grasp, yet we know is out there. The sort of wonder that surfaces when we’re lost in thought alone in our room. Rumpistol can fit so many distinct, disparate sounds into his music without creating a crowded mix. Each element has room to breathe. In My Room offers another great example of this dynamic.

In the past several years, Jens has been working with his jazz and world fusion supergroup Kalaha, and maneuvering through the United States’ bass music circuit. The sounds of these two different worlds appear to have heavily influenced In My Room, and as such, it represents a new evolution of Rumpistol’s music.

As a taste-maker and curator, Eddy Seven holds-true to his craft as a creator and selector of some of the most recognisable music within dubstep and beyond. With his releases on esteemed labels Wheel and Deal, Subway, Tempa and Black Box topping charts and leaving a sizeable trail, his seriously fresh and captivating LP ‘Evolution’, which received a feature on Mixmag for best album, and self-titled audio movie ‘Eddy Seven’ justified his stance as an artist and saw his international reach magnify. Adding to his already substantial roster, breakout track ‘Walter White’, released on Uprise Audio in 2013 continues to shake crowds worldwide.

Bringing a consistently rich musical profile to the table not only through his music but in shaping a forceful label artist base with Uprise, his recent tours in the USA have been filling rooms and feeding hungry sound systems with magnetic and gripping sets that generate an emotion fueled by a passion for bringing quality music to the light.

With sights on continuing the expansion of a sound in demand and bringing the undefined into focus, Eddy Seven is laying down roots where few dare to go.
