The four track release from the Naarm/Melbourne native is a techy excursion that subtly meshes elements of minimal with modern UK bass dynamics, informed by the Australian’s psychedelic production style.

‘Utility’ sparks the ignition with a bass-driven peak time beast that morphs through syncopated grooves and punchy drops, the A2 ‘Electrolyte’ takes a hedonistic turn where resonant tones spiral across a rolling 4x4 drum groove. 

‘Breathe’ steers us onto the B-side with dubbed out subs and percussive layers fusing up across this impeccable roller. ‘Stay Playful’ takes on a early-tech house feel with tribal drums and hypnotic echoes that venture on throughout the night. Digital bonus track ‘Love Sensation’ draws UK-Garage influences combined with lush pads and quirky vocal snippets drifting amid the tops.

The labels catalogue is welcoming a third full feature album by no other than the young and promising producer from the UK – Phase ‘O Matic. This body of work marks the second LP by the artist in five years therefore to say the excitement levels can be measured by the excitement meter and these levels would be scientifically speaking - through the roof. From the opening track “Welcome to the Night” to the closing “The Weapon” which is named after the title of the album, the artist has demonstrated his impeccable production skills and knowledge of the 90’s sound with the modern twist applied. Over the years of hard work, he has developed his own sound and from what can be heard here safely could be said that this release is most definitely the weapon of mass destruction which has been added to the artist’s collection of releases. New London-based label Plasticity Records hits the ground running with a hard-hitting, dancefloor-focused VA featuring four varied tracks, connected by a raw, propulsive sound thread running throughout.

Kicking off the A side is established Barcelona-based duo Nulek & Roto with Eternal Space — a stuttering, pitch-black techno/electro piece featuring an ominous vocal that sends shivers down your spine. Rounding out this side is Study Nights by Uruguayan talent Flhez, leaning heavily into the country’s rich musical tradition with plenty of spooky synths and rough analogue textures.

Over on the B side, Barcelona-based Romanian Mar.C delivers Not Normal — a tough-asnails, EBM-tinged techno number that’s sure to get any dancefloor moving. Last up is the broken and decidedly wonky Nuclear Era from Lima-based Venezuelan purveyor of all things percussive and leftfield, Acid Charlie.

Kicking off our VA series we’re pleased to present Frequencies Vol. 1. Six brilliant artists
covering a variety of dancefloor moods and energies.

The Belgian duo A.G. & Kompo have delivered an extended slice of punchy minimal
techno for the A1, with elements of tech house and progressive leaning synths scattered
throughout. David Agrella’s welcome return to Seven Hills sees him developing the late
morning atmosphere titled Amfexa, utilising a groovy bassline, classy pads and some
expertly organic drum programming.

On the B side the Hamburg based Rupert Marnie and our beloved Dutch friends Young
Adults add a darker tinge to this release. Parapsychic is a gurgling meditation; very
minimal which allows the drums and alien sounding bass sounds to punch hard through
the mix. Closing us off is Exothermic, a monstrous, almost hellish bit of deep tech house.
Lots of textures, a rubber elastic kick drum, and a hypnotic, groaning vocal which sounds
as if it was dredged up from the underworld.

This music was recorded live using Volka Kick for the Deep SUB Bass being modulated, was also used for Percussion using short Kicks for groove, Volca Kick used too for more 1 shot Kick each 4/4 and again to Give atack for the others. 

The bassline mid going to acid was record with Erica Synth Black Sequencer and Erica Synth  Bassline with Abacus envelopes manipulation.

And HH rythm created by Grids
Percussion with Euclidean Circles sequencing PLaits thats also being envelope manipualted, all going to Befaco Percall to create more Groove.
