This beautiful song caught me right from the start. I feel very sad for it not being in the movies. So I wanted to multitrack it and asked my bandmate Alina, if she would lend me her wonderful soprano.

For those of you who wondered:
The song was composed by Nicholas Hooper for the 6th Harry Potter film to be shown just before Dumbledore returns to Hogwarts and is killed by Snape, but it didn't make it into the cinematic cut. You can still find it though, if you watch the deleted scenes.

Because I never learnt any orchestral instruments like violin or bass, I had to replace them by the samples of my e-piano. Still everything you hear is played by us.

Dieses wunderschöne Lied hat mich seit dem ersten Hören gefesselt. Richtig schade, dass es nicht in den Filmen eingebaut ist. Ich wollte es aber trotzdem aufnehmen und fragte meine Bandkollegin Alina, ob sie mir diesbezüglich ihren wundervollen Sopran leihen könnte.

Fingerstyle guitar performance and guitar tab for, Bathroom Dance, by composer, Hildur Guðnadóttir, from the Joker original motion picture soundtrack.

If you require an ominous soundtrack for Halloween night, I recommend the Joker Movie soundtrack. It's absolutely dread-filled.

The composer is Hildur Guðnadóttir; a tiny, soft-spoken Icelandic lady. She also composed the score for Chernobyl. While she's done other work with Johann Johannsson, her (musical) niche is hopelessness and despair. Currently no one does it better (worse?) than she.

I came up with this version rather quickly and I love how it turned out on the guitar. Initially Hildur Guðnadóttir's music doesn't seem applicable to a solo instrument. However, if one listens long enough, we can begin to hear the subtle themes and melodies with in her dark and brooding work on Joker.
