Раритет из мира Кетамы, уникальный симбиоз музыкальных культур Востока и Запада – архивный микс британца азиатского происхождения DJ Pathaan, сыгранный и записанный 24 мая 2008 года в легендарном Ketama cafe в Москве.

Pathaan начал свою диджейскую карьеру в середине девяностых, играя бок о бок с легендарным Talvin Singh в лондонском клубе Anokha. На одной из вечеринок его сет услышал David Bowie и немедленно предложил молодому диджею принять участие в своём мировом турне в поддержку альбома Earthling. Уже через несколько месяцев Pathaan, привыкший играть в уютных маленьких клубе для 200-300 человек, разогревал 15-тысячную толпу фанатов Боуи.   

Следующим важный шагом в карьере Pathaan стало открытие собственного лейбла Stoned Asia, ориентированного, в первую очередь, на выпуск downtempo, leftfield и lounge-компиляций. Артистами лейбла стали такие известнейшие музыканты, как Thievery Corporation, Nitin Sawhney, Ursula 1000, Nicola Conte, Asian Dub Foundation, Bliss и многие другие.   

Еще большую популярность Pathaan принес запуск радиошоу Pathaan's Musical Rickshaw. Год за годом, каждую неделю в ночь с субботы на воскресенье огромная аудитория BBC Asian Network внимает волшебным звукам прекрасной и загадочной музыки Востока. 

Также Pathaan является музыкальным директором международной сети ресторанов высокой китайской кухни Hakkasan, получающих ежегодно звезды Мишлен на протяжении вот уже 20 лет.
