Diynamic Music's sister label 2DIY4 are announcing the release of a rework by one of their newest additions, Undercatt. The Italian pair recently remixed The Temper Trap’s ‘Sweet Disposition’, and managed to flip it from a once bright shining pop track into a true underground anthem with a great sense of style. It is a track you will have heard if you were at the Destino Ibiza closing when Solomun finished his set with the piece, to great receptions and big reactions.

Sweet Disposition (Undercatt Remix) is out on December 11th on 2DIY4.

Moodmusic kick off 2016 with an artist who last appeared on the label in 2012. Maurice Aymard is Venezuelan by birth, but Barcelona based, and has long been a champion of deep and warming house sounds. He serves up two originals and gets remixed by Audio Tonic man Raxon.

Back in 2015 Maurice actually collaborated with Moodmusic label boss Sasse on a fine EP, has worked with Gui Boratto to great effect and is a regular on his own ten year strong label, Galaktika Records. There he excels at unearthing talents from around the world as well as continuing to evolve as a producer himself. A real boon to the Barcelona scene, he has also remixed on My Favorite Robot Records and with the three tracks he serves up here, he impresses once more.

Tantalising opener ‘Full Body Contact’ is a slow burning tune with distant synth drones adding tension to a free flowing tech drum line. At the mid point, bold chords and grand synths bring the drama and a real sense of mood ensues to ensure that floors will be utterly locked in.

Raxon is a Dubai based producer, DJ and label manager at Audio Tonic who is one of the region’s finest talents. His remix is much more melodically endowed, with rippling keys and iridescent chords adding light and perfectly ethereal vibes to the rooted, rubbery drums. It’s a spiritual cut, to be sure.

Lastly, the effortlessly enticing ‘Stripped’ is heartfelt and colourful. Awash with keys and Balearic guitar licks, it is both physical yet emotional and has a stunning female vocal drifting up top, whilst exquisite piano work marks this out as much more than just another club cut.

There is great variation on this EP, and as such it is sure to find fans all across the house spectrum.

Fideles and Kellerkind cross paths into a split EP consisting of six original tracks showcasing their individual yet complemental production styles.

Haptic’s murmuring vocals are at the center of Vitamins, a playful exploration of fluid atmospherics. A clanging bassline provides the backdrop for whirlwinding synths, as the vocals build up an enveloping, dance-inducing tension. Wave Echoes kicks in lively from the get go: a relentless, steady percussion tied into a wandering baseline are the constant mainstays. The melody slowly develops as a fuzzy wandering pad adds another dimension, equally spacious as it is heavy.

Carving light with synth sweeps and spacious reverb, Illumino takes shape as a deep tech introspection. Accented with whirring bits and maintaining an elated undertone, it effectively embodies the ever-ascending, never-releasing groove that’s perfect for peak time hours.

Kellerkind steps up to the plate with Subzero, a slice of cavernous dub tech. Breathy vocals and sparse ethereal elements set a dreamy mood. Underlined by smooth piano chords, the vocal develops into a full fledged hymn that is both emotive and mesmerising. For his second take, the Swiss producer embarks on a techno tinged journey. Opting for distorted synths and a stomping bassline, he aptly crafts a near dungeon-like atmosphere only sweetened by a lush female vocal. Teaming up with Sven, they offer up Shakti Pan, a meeting point between tribal infused percussion and deep-set riffs. Hollowed out drums and bells chimes touch on chorus vocals and manage to create a highly immersive experience, rounding off the release on an uplifting note.

Watergate welcome back two of Hamburg’s finest and most recent international exports: Adana Twins. Last seen on their latest Various Artists compilation, the duo returns with three absolutely stunning tracks of low slung, infectious cuts blurring the lines between House and Techno with an undeniable brush stroke of character the two are quickly becoming synonymous for.

‘Flower Of Cane’ kicks things off in an almost sinister fashion with massive low end bursts and a fever inducing, single note that never stops rising culminating in a climactic crescendo of dance floor euphoria while ‘Ortus’ takes a much more ‘up-beat’ approach with dreamy arpeggios and shimmering atmospherics laid over a pulsing bassline resulting in a gorgeous number ideal for a number of memorable moments.

Wrapping up the originals is the guaranteed summer anthem: 'Relentless fest. Jeppe Kjellberg’ where sultry vocals and lush aural artifacts launch sensations to uncharted new heights. Not done yet, we asked none other than the brilliant Andre Lodemann to create his revision of ‘Relentless feat. Jeep Kjellberg’ and he, as always, delivered big time. With not only one but two solid reworks of the original Lodemann’s remixes need no description other than there is a vocal and a dub version to satisfy any DJ’s sensibility. We hope you enjoy.
