N38 tells the story of a woman who chances upon her past love on a London night bus (N38) on her journey home. The song expresses the perturbation that ensues by this surprise encounter.

The thumri 'Saiyan Bina Ghar Soona' was originally composed by Ustad Salamat Ali Khan of the Shaam Chaurasi gharana. English lyrics by Tanya Wells. Performed by Seven Eyes at the True Brew Records in Lahore, Pakistan.
