GLASSE x 3-4-1 Cuts - 28/03/2024

Switzerland's Alogique aka Andrew Sommer returns to EASY2DANZE with eight melodic cuts entitled Spiritual Things'. Alogique is the alter-ego of Andrew Sommer, a Swiss producer discovered by EASY2DANZE who regularly releases on the label in addition to 3-4-1 Cuts. Andrew's music has been heavily supported in various Swiss clubs and draws inspiration from natural settings such as woods, rivers and mystical valleys while placing focus on melancholic sound design and entrancing atmospheres. After exhibiting his new productions in his live performances, Andrew returns to the Seven Scales Records sublabel, EASY2DANZE following two split releases between himself and Bergsteiger. Mystic Road' kicks things off with delicate melodies, tantalising modulations and progressive chords before Awake All The Night' delivers pulsating low-end, trippy elements and winding synths throughout. Tense oscillations, fluttering grooves and resounding kicks then take the focus in Rephlex' until Spiritual Things' offers up rolling percussive elements, emphatic siren hits and angelic pads in the distance. Clockwork' fuses undulating euphoria, tension-building elements and emotive melodic stabs which continues through to Magicien' that deploys fluttering melodic builds, serene oscillations and soaring chords. Horizon' gently balances rhythmic synths and evolving drum sequence before Odysee' rounds off the pack with blissful tones, provoking break downs and hypnotic ambience.
