Finally, back to the present, in the story. I wrote this very recently for the album release as a sort of resolution piece. It starts off with a sort of dissociative peace, and fades into honest determination by the end. You can probably tell, I've really been into granular effects lately. This one uses a neat plugin called Emergence. (And also the good old BT StutterEdit.)

Another vocal synth experiment inspired by anime opening themes, this time using Alter/Ego (https://www.plogue.com/products/alterego/) and its free synth Marie Ork. I am not good at using it yet (hence the nigh-incomprehensible vocals), but it was fun to put this together in GarageBand. (GarageBand's auto-drummers are also a great cheat.)

Also known as Yoshikawa-45 and D'va;;;;;;;;5, he made various of the most memorable tracks of Umineko no Naku Koro ni, one of them being "Prison Strip", which accompanied the grand finale of the first episode of the game. At first this remix was supposed to have a happier tone, but eventually I noticed the melody had great potential for something more mysterious and jazzy. Enjoy!
