This remix explores different sampling/warping techniques to create repetitive motifs with syncopated patterns.  It embodies a dancefloor-oreinted track combined with the orchestral traits of Eulerbeats Enigma LP 07.

Enigma 7 (Hammertime Remix)

This remix explores the concept of CHANGE as it relates to hip-hop music and the algorithmically generated Enigma 7 LP.  Traditionally, hip-hop music was born on the premise of the breakbeat: a singular rhythmic section that producers would loop to keep the groove going during parties and DJ sets. Since its birth in 1973, hip-hop has undergone so many changes, and continues to transform.   Today we stand at a new point of change; representing a shift in the entire production process. Whereas I would usually sample from a game or song that I loved, that had moved me at one point or another, here I am sampling something that was algorithmically generated, which completely changed my way of thinking and approach.
