In 2005, Severin Berz came across the hang unexpectedly. It had an immediate impact on him. 

He was already familiar with many traditional, African and Latin percussion instruments, but discovered that the hang was the perfect means to stimulate spontaneous, musical, emotional and bodily expression, free from all predetermined influences.

Through his music, Severin Berz hopes to share the richness, freedom of expression, and spontaneous inspiration found in the present moment.
