I had the absolute privilege to play an open to close set from 00:00 to 9:00 am. This allowed me to fully immersive myself into the space and the energy while telling a story through music. A true unforgettable experience for me.

Blending his rock roots with electronic beats allowed him to craft a distinctive sound.

THE TECHFILES 015 WITH PHRONESIS

The day I wrote this song it was a really rainy and stormy Saturday. I remember waking up and making some coffee and just feeling the melancholy weather. It hadn't been sunny for quite some time. I live near Vancouver Canada, a city known for its extremely rainy Fall/Winter/Spring weather. So that moody and gloomy Saturday I went into my studio and decided that was the vibe I was going to try and put into a song. 

I basically had most of the song written when I stumbled on to the idea of this being a remix, I had intended it to be an original. I was just playing with acapellas trying to see how it would sound and I tried this one out and I got the chills. I've always loved the haunting emotional vibes of this song, to be honest its the only song I really know by her and I've loved it since I heard it. I really felt like the mood of the music and the lyrics went so good together it was meant to stay a remix. I hope you like it!

Over the last few years he has played consistently in some of the best clubs in Montreal. SEVN is one of the original founders of Hidden Garden and the curator of Hidden Garden Radio.
