A little over a week ago I gave myself a challenge to do 1 composition everyday within an hour for 5 days (I actually went for 6 lol). I tried to go for a different aspect of composition everyday (cadence, melodies, rythm, motifs, etc...). I mostly did this to improve my composition skills but also to improve my ability to push through creative blocks and generate more ideas naturally. I'm currently working on making a video that goes into details on my findings from this challenge, hope you enjoy! :)
