Through this playlist, we showcase at Sexto Station the artists behind the electronic music scene here in Lisbon-Portugal. The musical styles and genres will feature a broader spectrum to include more artists.

The Scene

NOVA  RETRA — an audio and visual artist with multicultural roots, now calling Lisbon home, is a sensitive selector with records that shower you in nostalgic futurism and other oxymorons that spark deep introspection. This mix in particular showcases the dubby downtempo, leftfield, illbient and trip hop side of her collection. As a visual collector as well, she shares some snippets from her archives of avant-garde short films, and a translation of the opening poem by Mahmoud Darwish.

Markov (markov___) is a Brazilian-born, Lisbon-based DJ, producer, and record
collector driven by a restless curiosity for sound in its most unpredictable forms. Founder of
CULT and part of the vinyl-only label Angatu, he crafts selections that thrive on
independence, depth, and discovery.

A devoted vinyl enthusiast and deep digger with a sharp ear, he blends moody undertones,
rich textures, and fluid rhythms into immersive experiences that defy easy categorization —
a defining presence within Lisbon’s underground.


MARKOV x Cult x The Scene x Sexto Station

Antilope, the Sonic Alchemist and producer of Astradanza, Lisbon-based originally from Belgium.

Influenced by the 80s era of musical freedom and escape. Inspired by artists like Giorgio Moroder, Vangelis, and Brian Eno, he developed into an artist-composer. In the early 90s, he diversified his musical style, blending house, techno, trance, disco, and more.

His musical identity shines through his vinyl collection spanning three decades, offering timeless journeys through a fusion of genres and styles.

@bohdanhetmanets — His musical journey took off in 2016. Originally from Kyiv and now an integral part of Lisbon’s vibrant scene and the Sexto crew. In this mix he follows a steadily rising tempo that flows through a wide spectrum of electronic genres, from house to electro. The focus is on versatility and energy, proving that dance music should never be monotonous.

A COSTUREIRA (aka Massi) - A craftsman of sound, weaving diverse genres into unique compositions for those who love to dance. Years of nomadic experience, deep cultural influences, and a distinct personal aesthetic shape a constantly evolving journey where times and places converge. Deliberately outside the mainstream, a Costureira remains an underground mystery, with no trace online.

Victor Haas is a DJ and producer. One of the founders of @m.e.l.l.o.w.__, he works on the label’s curation and releases.

As a producer, he has released five singles and an EP through labels such as Bliss Records, Miniclub, and Mellow itself — including a collaboration with Carrot Green and the single “Electric Bliss Seduction,” which gained prominence on digital platforms and within the independent scene, solidifying his name in the electronic music landscape.

Music has guided Joss for as long as he can remember. Growing up in Mexico City, he discovered rhythm through vinyl, movement, and the emotional depth of sound. With time, music became his voice.

His journey has taken me across the world, sharing stages with Guy Gerber, Francesca Lombardo, Audiofly, and many others. Cities like Buenos Aires, Milan, Amsterdam, São Paulo, London, Barcelona, Tel Aviv, Oslo, and Moscow have shaped his sound and story.

FRED GNUCCI x Pornonouveau x The Scene x Sexto Station

SEXTO is a multi-creative project based in Lisbon. We do a series of electronic music events with a strong focus on sound quality and a carefully curated selection of underground music.

Our strengths are combine perfectionism in sound quality and music selection with hyping and vibing—to create a bigger project that includes parties, dj school, sound system supplier  and others.

SEXTO is the merge between two musical communities from the Lisbon music scene - the party label SEXTO and the legendary bar - SANTOS TRAIN STATION.

SEXTO, with Ukrainian roots, was established as @kulturazvuku club in 2018 and emerged in Lisbon as SEXTO in April 2023. It became famous for its superb sound quality and artist selection.

SANTOS TRAIN STATION, one of the most well-known projects from @who.the.fuck.is.henry, had a three-year history. It's hype with unique spot and concept—an outdoor bar with daily DJs on rotation right at the train platform—became famous for always being full with a cool crowd and vibe.
