November the 18th meet Copasetic to deliver his two-tracks deep tech release to Set About South!

"Shiver" was inspired by sounds synonymous with the current underground minimal tech scene. I had many ideas in my mind when making this track such as where it would be played and what time of the night it would best fit. It took inspiration from music venues I have been to in the past, particularly those which possess an intimate, dark and underground vibe. I wanted to create a trippy and eerie build up completed by a heavy drop consisting of percussive drum elements, acid-tinged sub bass, glitches and mind-bending vocal fx elements.
 
"Freek" was made over the summer of 2022 utilising inspiration from events and festivals which I had attended with friends. For this track, I wanted to create an energetic and bouncy percussive groove utilizing samples from the roots of one of my favourite genres of music, hip hop.
