“I really wanted an upbeat love song that reflected my mood on how I feel at the beginning of a relationship,” she says. “That first time he calls me "baby" makes my heart skip a beat.”
The song, a fun fusion of pop, synth, EDM and hip-hop, is sure to make a few hearts skip, too. Seysei paired with up-and-coming El Paso producer Andoren--a match-up that proved quite harmonious.
“I told him my vision for it--my love for dance, hip-hop and layered synths--and it unraveled from there,” she says.

Seysei's love struck single release "Hopeless Crush"

Dallas based Indian Pop artist, Seysei is releasing her new single “Hopeless Crush”, on February 8th 2019. The energetic and upbeat song is arriving in time for you to dance to with your Valentine! 

A classical guitar strums the the first few notes before Seysei's airy vocals and a rhythmic base transform the song into a contemporary ballad. The beat slows and quickness mimicking the butterflies that grow in your stomach when you see your crush. The lyrics are saturated with the dreamy fantasy of a girl and the ferocity of a woman.

Born in India and bred in the U.S, Seysei is one of the first up and coming pop-female-acts to represent South East Asian audiences both here and overseas in the mainstream vein. A triple threat as a singer, musician and dancer, she matches pop-sensibilities with her warrior spirit in her songwriting. She grew up classically and performed often in the Dallas Children's Choir where she sang for President George Bush Jr and was able to grace venues like Carnegie Hall. Now armed with her own ammo of original singles, she has been peaking the attention of audiences from all over with her self-directed music videos which have collected over 500K streams in a couple weeks.
