In the Fall of 2021, students in the Technology and Applied Composition program at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music were given the assignment to create a professional demo for a fictitious video game entitled, LUNA. Composers were instructed to write a theme based on five emotional pillars in the game's story, in which the main character, Luna, struggles to lead her people against the malevolent antagonist, Colton Mallory. The game takes place in outer space starting in the year 2312. Join Luna in this daring action-adventure as  she tries to save humanity’s future!
 
This project was made possible thanks to mentorship and support from Matt Levine, Sam Marshall, Scott Hanau, and Daria Novoliantceva. The album was recorded live in Studio G of the Bowes Center at San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Composers were present at the session, working with producers from Sony Interactive Entertainment of America. Produced by Joshua Yee ‘22 and Kristofer Twadell ‘22. Mixed by David Tippie '23 in the TAC Studios at SFCM.

Quartet In Ab - Jess Konye

In the Fall of 2022, students in the Technology and Applied Composition program at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music were given the assignment to create a professional demo for a fictitious video game entitled Polarity. Composers were instructed to write a theme based on five emotional pillars in the game's story, in which the main character, Aria, survives and explores the frigid and perilous surface of Mars.

The album was recorded live in Studio G of the Bowes Center at San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Composers were present at the session, working with producers and engineers from Sony Interactive Entertainment of America.
