If you do need to use a 573 with an LCD, make sure to also be aware of latency from the scaler you choose; if you have an awesome low latency display you found on DisplayLag, it'd be a shame if the scaler reversed that effort and added 30~40ms! A line doubler(/tripler/quadrupler) like the OSSC is essentially lagless (nanoseconds of latency) and looks great (just turns 320x240 low res into 480p in line doubled mode, 720p in line tripled mode, etc., has options for fake scanlines if you like the CRT look). A cheap scaler like the Gonbes GBS-8220 is definitely not lagless (adds a couple frames of latency) and does not look so amazing (looks a bit muddy, interlaces the signal, etc.).
