We don't know whether the Boogie Down Edits crew spend a lot of time cruising round L.A in a convertible with the roof down, but their edits - often of old West Coast P-funk, boogie, modern soul and hip-hop - would make the perfect accompaniment if they do. There's plenty of similarly hot fodder on this latest installment in their self-titled series, beginning with the P-funk meets hip-hop soul gem "Nuthin' But A Jam". Elsewhere, there's plenty more dancefloor heat to enjoy, from the beatbox electro-meets-'80s soul goodness of "Dancing", and the instrumental Prince re-rub "Boogie Lover", to the '80s disco stomp of "I Want U", and the Vaughan Mason & Co tweak "Roller Boogie".

La nouvelle version du célèbre tube planétaire « Soul Makossa 2.0 » en a surpris plus d’un. Bien d’autres surprises sont maintenant officialisées. 

Pour la première fois depuis les années 90 Manu Dibango vient d’enregistrer de nouveaux titres et s’apprête à publier un tout nouvel album studio. 

Pour ce nouveau projet Wayne Beckford et Manu Dibango ont créé de nouvelles compositions en partant de quelque uns de ses titres des années 60-70, qui ont enrichit 50 ans d’une carrièretrès productive et couronnée de succés. Manu Dibango et Wayne Beckford ont souhaité lui donner la coloration très afro-soul de l'époque qui a vu émerger "Soul Makossa". 

Les générations passent, mais Manu Dibango reste plus actuel que jamais. Un véritable classique conjuguant passé et présent pour créer le futur ! 

Ce nouvel album : PAST PRESENT FUTURE incarne la fusion d’une période musicale incontournable avec celle d’aujourd’hui. Une histoire de la musique qui a influencé la plupart des courants musicaux d’aujourd’hui et qui continue de l’écrire au futur.
