Following the release of ‘Machine Therapy’, his first album in ten years, Techno legend Alan Fitzpatrick returns to Anjunadeep under his breaks & electronic alias 3STRANGE.

Launched in 2020, Alan’s project 3STRANGE has already impressed the electronic scene and received support from fellow DJs & producers such as Anja Schneider, Benny Benassi, John Digweed and Guy J.

Premiered on Anjunadeep 13 by James Grant & Jody Wisternoff, ‘Someone Else’ showcases a softer side of Alan’s productions, which is perfectly complemented by Kenya Grace’s dreamy vocals.

Kiasmos mark their return in 2017 with a new 12” EP titled Blurred — available worldwide on October 6th via Erased Tapes.

Since their 2015 Swept EP, the duo have been performing shows extensively across the world. After writing and recording together in their native Iceland this year, the pair will be bringing a glimpse of light to a particularly gloomy time of year as their light sounds are brighter than ever.

￼“Stimming was one of the reasons we started making four-on-the-floor music and we have been listening to Bonobo since we were young, so it was a great honour that they wanted to contribute remixes for the EP.” — Ólafur Arnalds

￼The EP closes with remixes from British producer Bonobo and German electronic musician Stimming, taking tracks Blurred and Paused into different coloured realms.

The cover art featuring the iconic Kiasmos symbol is by long-time Erased Tapes collaborator Torsten Posselt at FELD.

1976年大阪府出身。2001年初頭に自身にとってのファースト・アルバム 『SILICOM』をリリースして以来、LIVE, DJ、楽曲制作を中心に国際的な活動を続 ける。2004年~2011年はヨーロッパに拠点を置き、2011年に帰国。国内外のアー ティストのremix, プロデュース、ミキシングも担当。Bun/Fumitake Tamuraとのユ ニットNeutralでの活動も進行中。写真家としても活動。

AOKI takamasa was born in 1976 and raised in Osaka, JP.
Since releasing his first album, SILICOM, in 2001, he’s worked internationally as a producer, live performer, and DJ.
Between 2004-2011, he was based in Europe before returning to Japan in 2011. Since then he has done several remixes for both international and domestic artists, undertaking the production and mixing as well.
He is currently part of the unit Neutral along with Bun/Fumitake Tamura. He also works as a photographer.

2.コンセプトがあれば教えてください。
自分の前にプレイしていたAtsuki君のDJの熱量をいただきながら、それをブースターにオーディエンスのノリを出来るだけキープしながらフロアを少し盛り上げて、次のAkufenのDJセットへ良いパスが出来るように意識しました。


3.最近の活動を教えてください。
ルーマニアの新レーベルVHS Recから2019年５月１日に６年ぶりの新作”Internally Combusted”をヴァイナルでリリースしました。
