SUCIA! and DJ Manny present FML Mixtape Vol 1, a collection highlighting their community of fellow music lovers from all walks of life. Based around their party series of the same name, this compilation features everything from footwork to r&b, techno, rap and even a punk song. Its purpose is to display the wide range of talent within their peers, and showcase the current sounds of dance music from NYC to the rest of the world.



Featured here among the mixtape’s 22 tracks are Teklife representative Mel G (Low Key Recs), Bronx-based dark tunnel techno specialist Total XTC (Body Journey), Rare Frequency Transmissions' co-founder Dynoman, Anito Soul representing Planet Queer nyc's collective, and jazz chord virtuoso Tomu DJ (Girl House). Rather than run with a rigid genre or small circle scene focus, the curation of this compilation was a natural process of selecting friends with similar mindsets. The alt kids who listen to R&B, the ravers that love hip-hop, the punk bands that write songs about sex workers, good music knows no bounds and that is what is presented here.



For Music Lovers is about community, diversity & representation. It’s about worldwide celebration of the black and queer dance music and those that hold respect for its roots.

All funds made from this project will go direct back to the artists involved.

22. Manny & SUCIA! - Can'tLet U Go

Over a month after the release of Barom’s conceptual two part album Dante’s Fall//Dante’s Rise,
Off-Switch Audio are back with a remix EP. This one features three unique takes on Hold Tight
U, originally released as a single from Dante’s Rise.
First up, Bristol’s finest phonky 140 selector Fellony brings forth an eerie lofi grime version
for the intro. Glitchy percussion and spacious atmospherics set the vibe nicely with this one.
Sam ULG then comes through with an electro mix. Armed with a rolling reese bass and a saturated
808 kit, this repackaged version of Hold Tight U is the perfect club-ready DJ tool.
Finally FKA.SAKA does a complete rethink of the track with his signature heavy break-fuelled
sound. Leaving behind subtle traces of Barom’s strings morphed into aggressive drum beats, FKA
SAKA rebuilds Hold Tight U from its foundations and tops things off with some freshly made
vocal chops.

Today we share Chicago footwork legend DJ Manny remixes "Flow" by FUCK!LACRÈME. DJ Manny, a protégé of DJ Rashad's legacy continues to carry the torch for Chicago Footwork with consistent releases, remixes, and touring. With releases on Teklife, Planet Mu, Moveltraxx, and his most recent community offering, a curated compilation "For Music Lovers Vol.1," available on bandcamp. 
As deep admirers of Chicago footwork, it makes sense FLAC tapped Manny to remix their next release.
FUCK!LACRÈME is a collective of 5 long-time friends,  DJs and producers who share a passion for offbeat percussions and thick TR-808 basslines. FLAC comprises Lorenzo Marfori, Marco Brena, Marco Migotto, Francesco Crovetto and Andrea Greco, bringing each one a unique feature to the crew: beatmaking, sampling, writing and mixing. They forged a unique style that holds together their backgrounds permeated by black music (jazz, funk,hip hop) and traditional music, with the most innovative breakbeat skitters coming straight from the underground Chicago footwork scene. DJRashad and RP Boo, have had a big influence on them, and they continue to push the  boundaries of their influences by experimenting with the most recent sounds in club music.
