As we’ve all seen Tāmaki Makaurau has suffered massive devastation after the floods a few weeks ago with the good people of the north being heavily affected with some losing their homes & entire livelihood’s including lots of dear friends & whanau of The Big Fresh Collective - We turned to local artists & businesses to donate a bit of their time and support to a great cause in order to raise some funds for those in need ❤

Footmahi For Tāmaki Makaurau is a non for profit, Footwork & Juke inspired compilation album where artists from all over Aotearoa & the rest of the world have donated tracks in support of The Victims of the recent floods and the people of Tāmaki Makaurau.

The compilation is centered around raising money for the victims of the floods and also restoring a bit of love and happiness back through the way we know best; with good music!

Created on a $0 budget with tracks donated from acclaimed artists locally and abroad; The compilation will be available under a name-your-own-price deal on Bandcamp which means you get to choose how much you want to donate towards the cause and you receive a high-quality download of the album - 100% of profits will be going directly to The Auckland City Mission  ❤

Happy May Day! For those of you who’re chilling at home or out and about celebrating workers’ rights, we’ve got a soundtrack for the day. We’re very pleased to welcome back friend of the show and killer DJ/producer @puff_magic . The next show in our invites series is a fiery blend Club, Juke, Jungle, Breaks, Bass and more electronic goodness. 

PUFF.magic is an Australian Producer currently living on the East Coast of Canada. Love for juke/footwork, jungle, bass and all things 160, respect to all the originators. Djing since 2013, Producing since 2014. Living the family life, balancing motherhood and music since 2017. Went a little out of my usual 160 realm to bring you a mix with the 140 - 150 vibes including club, breaks, bass and more.

A debutant on the 1Forty imprint back in March for the first ever paid 1Forty Release, Casement made a mark with his track 'Hydrocity'. Due to the reaction the track had we thought we'd get the young Glaswegian to give it the VIP treatment to celebrate the Label arm turning 1. After  Toddla T recently supporting some of the artists on the Label he's grabbed this VIP as well as DJ Q, Vectra (Rinse FM), Benteki & Cardinal Sound amongst others. 

Having appeared on Rinse FM with Marcus Nasty, Killa P & Long Range (Killaz Army) in April shortly after the release and now the VIP due to land the rest of 2018 is shaping up nicely.
