Perth based singer songwriter Joel Barker's ‘Beyond the Crows’ is a result of a six month move to England and recording at Café Music Studios in East London, home to Mercury Prize nominated artist Jon Hopkins. 

‘Beyond the Crows’ is a stunning collection of songs that were recorded over the space of 20 days by producer and engineer Cherif Hashizume. Grammy Award winning engineer William Bowden, best known for his work with Gotye and his hit song ‘Somebody that I Used to Know’, has mastered the album in its entirety.
