In this chapter, a follower of Muslim Pir, Manjh comes to Guru Ji and desires to become a Sikh. Guru Ji tells Manjh that Sikhi is not cheap and comes at a great price. Manjh insists and Guru Ji instructs him to teardown the grave that his family worships and then come to Him. He does as told, and with time, he looses everything. He goes through difficult times but never forsake the path of Gursikhi.

On 1st of Jeth 1767 Bikarmi (1710 CE), the dream and thirst of every Sikh to avenge the martyrdom of the Chhote Sahibzade was quenched when Nishan Sahib was raised over Sirhind and Wazir Khan punished to death. In order to achieve this mission, 6,000 Sikhs laid down their lives in this battle which marked the dawn of Khalsa Raj in Punjab.
