Katha Battle Of Mukatsar- A Descriptive Account

On 1st of Jeth 1767 Bikarmi (1710 CE), the dream and thirst of every Sikh to avenge the martyrdom of the Chhote Sahibzade was quenched when Nishan Sahib was raised over Sirhind and Wazir Khan punished to death. In order to achieve this mission, 6,000 Sikhs laid down their lives in this battle which marked the dawn of Khalsa Raj in Punjab.

3 Jeth 1803 Bk. (1746 CE) is the day when thousands of Sikhs attained martyrdom and it was the first major genocide against the Sikhs.
