After five years of planning, writing, and refining their sound, London-based production duo Kolectiv are set to release their long-awaited debut drum & bass album, Circadian Rhythms.

The project began in the aftermath of the pandemic, when the pair started setting aside tracks that captured the spirit of a night out at a drum & bass event. Their vision was clear: to create an album that reflects the variety, energy, and progression of a rave – from the first beats that pull you into the closing sounds that carry you home.

“Going out to drum & bass nights, you’d hear so many different flavours across six or seven hours. We wanted the album to follow that same arc – like a circadian rhythm, a natural flow of time, but in this case the cycle of a rave,” Kolectiv explain.

To achieve this, the duo placed a strong emphasis on originality and sound design. Most of the album was built from scratch using their own recorded samples, crafted through sessions with keys, drums, and guitars, and only dipping into external sources when absolutely necessary. Vocal collaborations from PAV4N, Hijak MC, Illmatika and Kerry Donnelly add unique flavour to the project, while carefully placed interludes tie the project together as a complete listening experience.

“This isn’t just a collection of tracks. We wanted it to be a journey – a cradle-to-grave kind of experience – with highs, lows, and moments to breathe.”

The title Circadian Rhythms captures that intention perfectly: an audio diary of a night spent immersed in drum & bass culture, told through Kolectiv’s trademark blend of technical precision and emotional depth.

The project also coincided with a complete studio overhaul, giving Kolectiv a fresh environment to finalize and mix down the record with a renewed sense of clarity and focus.

With Circadian Rhythms, Kolectiv deliver more than an album – they present a story, an atmosphere, and a tribute to the music and culture that shaped them.

Returning to the Dispatch main label this October, we are pleased to present the ‘Last Call EP’ from Survival, a formidable four tracker, spanning the full breadth of his unique sound. 

Following a busy few months, with Survival releasing the ‘Take It Back’ album and a Dispatch Dubplate (amongst other commitments), the fruits of his labour continue to blossom, with quality music flowing that still feels distinctively different to his previous.

Ben Soundscape - one half of The Insiders - is the latest addition to the Innerground family with this dominant two-track single featuring tracks "Till 6am" & "Level Up" featuring MC Fokus.

"Till 6am" kicks things off with a tough break and accompanying bassline after the drop. With somewhat of a split personality, "Till 6am" blends the dark and forceful bass with a plethora of deft touches in the background giving it a dreamy feel aided by some well-placed piano riffs before the breakdown.

"Level Up" features MC Fokus on the lyrical duties and what a combination. From a subtle yet "fokussed" intro, we dive into a divine wobble that speaks to the Moving Shadow on GTA era and lifts the entire piece to something of a monster. Barking bass and tight percussion make this an instant dancefloor smasher.

D-Struct and I go way back. In 2005 we were making our first tunes together for Moving Shadow and surviving on a diet of burritos and beer, and here we are almost 15 years later, refined adults with families, still loving the beats. We live on opposite corners of the world now, but we've stayed in touch, and recently John hit me with a batch of tunes which absolutely floored me. I snatched up two of them for the label, and I'm super proud to be putting them out.

Brazilian D&B producer Bungle has dropped new EP ‘Runaway', out 1st September via the rising Eloisa Records.

The three track EP begins with title track ‘Runaway’ that see’s a rolling and grit fuelled bassline interject superbly with sharp and snappy percussion. Things take a deeper and darker turn with ‘Unleashed’ as technical and expansive atmospherics run rampant throughout the tune as the drums chop and change exquisitely. Seeing things home is an industrial growler, and not one for the faint hearted. The aptly name ‘Articulate’ is Bungle at his best and will no doubt be a choice cut for DJs across the drum & bass spectrum. 

‘Runaway’ marks the fifth release on the burgeoning Eloisa, the fresh  imprint ‘on a mission to surpass barriers in the D&B scene’. Under the Inperspective Music Group umbrella, the label is determined to instil some fresh energy across the genre. Knowing no limits in its expression or style of the broad drum & bass genre, the only thing we can be sure of is that whatever they release, it will be quality.

Having released on the likes of 31, Critical, Spearhead, C.I.A and Soul:R to name a few, real name André Oliveira Sobota aka Bungle has consistently represented the highest echelons of drum & bass music.

A stunning collection of hard-hitting and gritty cuts primed and poised to screw-up faces across the globe, Runaway is another superb release, from what’s fast becoming a superb record label.
