I remember when my good friend Sean Cusick told me John Digweed wanted me to be on his KISS FM radio show back in 2002. I was extremely happy for this amazing news and I already have a trip planned to London with some friends so we went to see John at his Bedrock night at Heaven on a Thursday night, he was playing awesome as always!. I came closer to the DJ booth, he saw me and made me a sign to come closer and I gave him the CD with my mix. He said to me:
"I will let you know when you will be on the show" and 3 weeks later... 😃 pum!

Hey from Thundery Cyprus ⚡ thank you so much for Sunday guys the energy was amazing. There was a surprising emotional release on this show and those of us with headphones / good speakers found our bodies giving us an ASMR response - goosebumps & hairs standing up on the back of our necks and all down our arms. I’ve really missed bringing everyone together and it’s whilst this isn’t the same as the live events, it’s amazing that we can all feel something at exactly the same time. 

Doing this for you works both ways - if I make you feel good it makes me feel good, but this also allows me to say something profound that I can’t get across to you any other way than through my music. 

The quality of new material is improving and I really feel like I’ve found my home with regards to a sound that can give your soul a lovely massage and invoke some new energy from within.

Shabab Khan is a Birmingham born DJ, based in Malta, known for his driving Progressive House and Techno. Starting on vinyl with house music, he evolved into playing high-energy sets packed with groovy rhythms and filthy basslines. He’s played across Europe-including Spain, Turkey, Macedonia, and Bulgaria—and shared stages with big name names like Sasha, Miss Monique, Nakadia, and Metodi Hristov. In the UK, he’s appeared at venues like The Egg in London. Now a key figure in Malta’s underground music scene, he runs his own club night, TechNoir, and keeps pushing forward with his distinct sound.
