“Someone is waking up earlier than you.” 

Every time I think about that sentence while laying in bed, I end up not being able to fall asleep. Then, I wake up late. It’s a vicious cycle.

For every young professional feeling successful and at ease, there are ten hungrier and younger kids with new ideas, and a better understanding of the world as it is. Without growth in our personal and professional lives, there is no direction to go but backwards, and that gives others an opportunity to capitalize. If you let it happen, you probably deserved it - and if you’re unhappy, to be honest, you probably wanted it to happen.

We should all feel hungry the second we feel like we’re the shit.
