A somewhat theatrical piece that expresses confusion about the nature of God's interpreted will. This is the version with exclusively my vocals and a different mix than what has been released previously with Alan and Sophies vocals.

This originally started as a minimalist 5 minute long poly-rhythmic electronica track. But then I was inspired to add some pads and a lead guitar track, while cutting the intro and ending to make it more "radio time" friendly.

I dunno, I guess I was feeling melancholy the day I wrote this. Originally called lament, I have since renamed it to Requiem for a Whale. Hope you enjoy.

The predecessor to this song, "The Old Man", was a more complex piece, and i wanted to show a simpler, more lighthearted piece that would speak of youth and inexperience. Not sure if I succeeded, but this is still my favorite creation to this day.
