We welcome Ali Israr Swati for the tenth edition of our 'Deep In Mix' series. He is an emerging DJ from Pakistan who goes by the moniker 'SWATI'. He started playing music in 2018 after keenly observing every element of it for over 12 years. He considers himself a devotee of music and tries to promote it mainly by playing Organic, Deep , Melodic, Progressive, and Afro house.
He believes that music predates the existence of mankind and is the true form of expression with choices varying according to each individual's nature. Organic House speaks to him the most and he tries to create a sublime experience for the listeners.

"I have a strong belief about creating a better world via music and bringing back those lost virtues like love, peace, harmony, and unity. I consider myself a free being while playing and transmit that energy to the audience realizing its integrality. And one day music will bring back peace!" he quotes.

This is an eclectic mix with hand-picked tunes from his recent favorites over the past few months, featuring tracks by Jim Rider, M.O.S., Madraas, Lee Jones, Jonathan Ghersi, Luca Cocuiffo, Mariano Montori and many more.

Some things are lost in translation, such is the case when it comes to the name of our project; music on the other hand never loses any of it's qualities when it transcends borders or cultures. Music touches everyone in a different, distinctive way without the need for it to be explained to us. It treats us as a dear friend would, with honesty and respect, letting us express our own opinions. Music never gets upset when you disagree with it, or leave it for another song. It will always be there to comfort you when you need it. That's why we think music should be treated in return with the same love, respect and honesty. I believe in the long standing quality of music as both an instrument that connects people in a club context and an emotional and personal journey that each and every one of us undertakes in their own way.

A nomadic soul who does not tie himself to any place, his personality is reflected in the music which takes essence from a variety and makes a mosaic. He aspires to piece together beats that transcend the auditory and instill visions and dreams. His music is a work of harmony between the nomadic and progressive style of house. As a seeker of deep vibes He is not afraid to take the partygoers on a magical journey.

2020 has been a year that many including myself would want to forget. However, it helped us cope, be hopeful, unite and struggle towards betterment. Also, 2020 for me did stand out due to music, I had more time to explore, experiment, listen and at times play my favourite tunes for a selected audience. 

This particular set encompasses some tracks which I couldn't play this year coupled with some recent favourites. The set is mostly melancholic but at instances show hope for a better tomorrow. 

Let's pray 2021 is a year that helps us shine and outshine.
