Musique de Lune caps off a strong spring season by welcoming Cornelius SA to the label for his debut single. Hailing from South Africa, Cornelius SA has established himself amongst his country's finest electronic music exports. A graduate of the prestigious Red Bull Music Academy in Berlin, the Pretoria resident would go on to develop a resonant worldly sound, oftentimes sitting in the creative space between house, techno, and ambient electronica. Beloved for his intricate rhythms, mesmerizing melodies, and deep, emotive atmospheres, Cornelius SA compiled an impressive resume in relatively short order, recording projects for Anjunadeep, DAYS like NIGHTS, Get Physical, Zamna, and Mau5trap, amongst others; while earning play and support from Above & Beyond, Bedouin, Black Coffee, Eelke Klejin, Lane 8 and Tiesto, to name just a few. With 2025 already highlighted by releases via Rewoven and SMR, Cornelius SA now adds Musique de Lune to his resume with 'Falling' ft. Claxy & Ra5im, alongside a remix from Juan Sapia.

Full of hopeful emotion and youthful qualities, 'Falling' finds Cornelius crafting a laid-back yet dancefloor minded cut that's going to generate a lot of summer season smiles. It's spacious framework while immediately groovy, is full of great colour and character, as evidenced by creamy pianos tones, soulful vocal phrasing and fuzzed out chord stabs, all of which work in perfect unison with supremely contoured basslines and a wealth of bucolic sonics for a journey of surreal beauty. 

The release concludes with Juan Sapia making his label debut with the lone interpretation of 'Falling'. Hailing from the progressive house hotbed of Argentina, Juan Sapia has enjoyed a steady rise since first emerging in 2017. As a favourite of progressive music tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, the Buenos Aires resident has compiled an impressive resume, landing releases on top tier imprints such as Clubsonica, Mango Alley, Or Two Strangers, Sudbeat and The Soundgarden. With Juan's latest Or Two Strangers vehicle 'A Small Kind of Revival' highlighting 2024, Juan now presents his first new music of 2025, making his Musique de Lune debut with a gorgeous rendition of 'Falling'. Opting for a dubbier approach here, the main musical elements from the original are well utilized overtop of a traditional organic framework; and with an understated tip of the cap to the vocal post break, this eight minute journey sounds tailor made for a daytime dancefloor. A brilliant re-imagination that rounds out a superb offering from Musique de Lune, a label now reaching long-standing status at thirty one releases deep into their discography. Highly recommended.

Following the success of May's 'Jotark', JFR returns to his Secret Feelings imprint with a new two-track showcase. Hailing from Argentina, Juan Franco Rivero aka JFR has carved out a unique sonic identity in the world of progressive and organic house, resulting in a string of uniquely crafted records that present a resonant worldly sound. Releases via All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Musique de Lune, and his own Secret Feelings imprint have been instrumental in showcasing the Mendoza resident's borderless approach to production, in turn garnering support from Lee Burridge, Sebastien Leger and Nick Warren, amongst others. Also an accomplished DJ, JFR has travelled the world, performing alongside a wide assortment of international talents. Currently in the process of unveiling a string of unreleased projects which have been staples in his sets across recent years, JFR now returns to his Secret Feelings imprint with the double a-side offering 'Jane Watch The Stars'.

Beginning with 'Jane Watch The Stars', JFR finds a perfect balance between dancefloor energy and emotive musicality. Full of uplifting qualities, the Mendoza resident expertly blends warm rolling grooves, poignant chord stabs and soulful synth phrasing, all perfectly bound together with driving percussion. Nicely styled for a festival skyline, its emotional qualities are unabashed and undeniable, which ultimately proves to be its greatest strength, it's nice to see artists going for it, and JFR certainly does that here in hugely successful fashion.

The companion piece 'Zompri' acts as a perfect complement with its harder edge and darker design qualities. Looking to bring even greater energy to the release, JFR pushes a driving narrative across the first act, as cascading themes co-ax in a hazy textural bliss, adding a youthful exuberance as chords begin to shift and cinematic overlays add the perfect topline, a perfect addition to close out the release in epic fashion. Highly recommended. 


PREMIERE: JFR - Jane Watch The Stars [Secret Feelings]

Introducing Mushrooms, the latest progressive house collaboration between Pakistans emerging talent, goodkidd, and Argentinas Gastón Rodríguez. This release features the original track alongside three distinctive remixes by VegaZ SL, Sabrina Rivas, and Maxi Solo, each infusing their unique styles into the composition. 

goodkidd has rapidly gained recognition in the progressive house scene, earning support from industry figures like Nick Warren and DJ Ruby. Gastón Rodríguez, hailing from Córdoba, Argentina, is known for his organic, dark, and hypnotic sounds, with performances at venues such as Fridom and Selina. Sri Lankan DJ and producer VegaZ SL brings his deep, emotive, and atmospheric touch to his remix, reflecting his passion for progressive house and melodic techno. Argentine artist Sabrina Rivas, an emerging figure in the electronic music scene, offers her authentic and passionate take on the genre. Maxi Solo, known for his collaborations with goodkidmadcity, adds his signature progressive flair to the mix. 

Each version of Mushrooms delves into deep progressive house, showcasing the individual artistry of the producers while maintaining a cohesive and immersive listening experience.
